The Pedco UltraClamp 360 Swivel Mountcan be attached to various flat and round surfaces up to 1.5" thick. It lets you mount a camera on top and adjust it to just about any position. The UltraClamp can be rotated a full 360° along the pan axis and can also be tilt-adjusted. It offers a 1/4"-20 mounting screw on top and supports up to 6 lb loads, so you can attach most compact cameras as well as spotting scopes. Similarly, other devices with a 1/4"-20 tripod thread on the bottom can be mounted.

The Ultra-Clamp can be secured to something as slim as a rolled-down car window, which is a common use for this camera support. Other common surfaces include bicycle handlebars and table edges. It secures tight to these objects via a long thumb knob. The clamp head and knob of this handy accessory are made of injection-molded, glass-reinforced nylon thermoplastic resin, and the clamp body is made of aluminum.

A: the legs are plastic. But it is pretty durable, don't think it would break easily.

Q: 5. Can it hold a Sony HXR-NX100 video camera?

A: I would only use for very small cameras. GoPro or Micro 4/3'rds

Q: 6. Can someone suggest where to find a replacement for the large lever that tightens at the pivot point? I'm looking for a heavy duty one, preferably metal.

[6 lb / 2.7 kg] Works great with a Go pro, on the ground for people, dogs, bears or other animals running by. Attaches to branches steel poles or other similar objects. I am surprised that this is not next to Go pros in stores. If I was only going to buy one accessory for a Go pro it would be the Ultra-pod Need to buy the inexpensive Go-pro tripod mount. I have had an ultra-pod for over 30 years. I used to use it for backpacking with a 35mm camera which worked ok if there was a stump, log or boulder handy. But if you are after good images with a 35mm camera you would be better off with a larger sturdier tripod especially if you are looking for soft water or low light images. 5

[6 lb / 2.7 kg] Excellent quality and the clamp is high quality that can be attached any where , i own a motorcycle and i am going to use it on the sides of it , first i was worried where i can attach it and then found due to its high quality it can be attached many places. Dont forget for using this clamp for gopro you need an adapter that is sold by B&H. I bought revo adapter for gopro 5

[0.45 lb] Unless you plan to fix the frame permanently in landscape or portrait, this is a must have item. I rotate the frame every few days to see a different set of photos. 5

[5.5 oz / 156 g] Unsightly, but provides reliable, versatile mounting options on c-stands, small extension poles, standing lamp poles etc. Also not super low profile, but not horrible either. Good tradeoff for mounting position options. Included swivel mount is a nice bonus. Overall, it's the right price and functional with no major issues. I bought 3 more. 5

[0.45 lb] So I’ve had numerous ball-head mounts over the years. Some better and some worse. All of them had issues with actually holding a light in place. Ball head slipping at the worst times. This seems to be holding up very well so far. I haven’t used it with any heavy batteries like the Npf 960 yet- so I’m not sure about that. But so far, so good! 5

[0.45 lb] Even though most of this is plastic, it is well built and feels like it will hold up under careful use. I'm glad they included a steel (chrome plated brass?) stud instead of a cheap, cast, pot metal stud. 5
