[6.9 lb] I am in the process of scanning all my slide collection and I needed a good way to save and protect the slide I planned to keep. The Logan box is well made and the divider inserts make easy to catalog the keepers.

[6.9 lb] Excellent metal case for archiving or transporting 35mm slides! This heavy duty case is a great carrying case and reminder to all to store this in a dry, room temperature environment. It fits slides perfectly.

[6.9 lb] I have been using these slide files (both 750 & 1500 size) since 1979 and now have over 55 of the units. Recently I have been going through all of my slides for scanning and have not found any prroblems with the stored slides. The plastic liner has not broken down, the slides are not covered in dust, the latches have remainded secure, etc. And most of these units have been through numerous moves (including mailings)as I was in the Air Force until 1996. So, at least through my personal experience, I have not had one problem or concern in using the slide files. Except for the cost: I wont' mention how much the price has risen over the years.

[6.9 lb] I am preserving my sides after converting to digital. Reduces storage space and is a solidly made product. I can find not fault in this product.

[6.9 lb] I already had a single tray version for probably 30 years. Plastic inserts in new one are not as sturdy, but plenty good. I think capacity is overrated. I have trouble jamming that many slides in, but that is minor. Best choice available for storing slides that I could see. It is sturdy - don't have to worry about cardboard collapsing.

[6.9 lb] We bought some of these a few years ago when we started digitizing slides, and discovered we needed more as we progressed (slowly) through the slide carousels. I was glad to see that the boxes were still available, but I was concerned that the quality of the new boxes would not match the old boxes. Not so! These boxes are identical to the ones we bought 5 years ago, and the price is about the same. The plastic inserts seem a bit thinner, but they hold our slides well. I don't think we are getting 1500 in the box (as advertised), but I guess it all depends on whether the slide covers are plastic or cardboard. The only improvement I'd make to the box is to have some way to stack them. We are currently using storage box #8, and they can't be stacked on top of each other due to the handle on the top. This is a great product - takes up much less space than the 80+ carousels we had - and I highly recommend it.
