Designed for large venues, the 220V Da-Lite 29458E Wireline Advantage Motorized Projection Screen 220Vuses thin steel cables instead of black drop to lower the screen to an appropriate viewing height. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in your ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets help make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. In the list of accessories included with this kit theres a Dedicated EX100A SpeedringCan this speedring be used with softboxes made by other softbox manufacturers?

A: Unfortunately, the speed ring included in this kit would be limited to use with the included softboxes.

Q: 2. What color temperature do theses lights output?

A: 3200 Kelvin, or basic Tungsten. You can add color temperature gels to change it, which is what I did.

Q: 3. If I purchase a pc chord adapter, is this compatible with a canon rebel t3?

A: Yes you can use the Vello Universal Hot Shoe Adapter for PC Connection B&H # VEHSAPCU in order to sync these monolights with a Canon EOS Rebel T3. Additionally, you may also want to purchase a light meter to help measure the output of these monolights. It can be connected with the same sync cable. One such meter is the Sekonic L-308S-U Flashmate Light Meter B&H # SEL308SU. Please see the images below for reference.

Q: 4. Are there also soft boxes included?(:

A: Comes with two soft boxes. I bought with two umbrellas as well, which I used shooting 141 head and shoulders photos on my first assignment. Everything but the synch cord worked perfectly.

Q: 5. does this unit have hss?

A: No it doesn't have HSS

Q: 6. two strobes, two soft boxes, two stands and one sync cord- Are they included in this kit?

A: This kit would include two Impact EX 100 monolights, two softboxes with speed rings, two sync cables, two power cords, flashtube/modeling lamp for each head, a reflector for each head, spare fuses for each head, Impact 8 ft light stands and a 1 year warranty on each head.

Q: 7. can this light be triggered by another flash?

A: Yes, the nature of it is that it's triggered by a flash. I have three of them, so I connect directly to one through a cord, and that one triggers the other two. But I have also found that my bounce flash will trigger any of them as well, and I think that's what you're asking about.

Q: 8. Are these lights tungsten or daylight ( 5500K). Can I use my Nikon on auto white or have to balance?

A: Strobe lights are typically daylight-balanced. You would either use the daylight-balanced or flash-balanced white balance preset on your camera, or you would use the Custom White Balance setting to set a custom white balance. Auto White Balance is not recommended for strobe usage.

Q: 9. Will this work with the remote wireless flash signal produced by the OMD EM-10?

A: I'm unfamiliar with that specific wireless trigger system, but I have used two different wireless triggers with this light kit successfully. As long as the trigger uses a 1/8 mono plug, you should be fine. If not, you can buy adapters to make these things work.

Q: 10. Can these lights be on for a full shoot, or are they flash/strobe only? Looking to purchase something inexpensive for filming purpose, and won't need the flash setting.

A: You could use the modeling lights for filming but it's probably cheaper to just by led modeling lights with more wattage. I think the modeling lights on this kit is about 60 watts. Modeling lights are used to see the lighting and to help your camera focus on the subject.

[130 degrees] great value, I looked all over for a large screen for a decent price and landed on this one. It had a little tag that said it self-retracts slowly and it doesn't but that was not a feature I was counting on anyway, it has a string to help it retract cautiously. would definitely recommend this one if you want a big screen on a budget! Takes 2+ people to mount, its pretty heavy when you're on a ladder!

[Front and Rear] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher.
