Designed for large venues, the 220V Da-Lite 29267EG Wireline Advantage 65x116 Motorized Screen 220Vuses thin steel cables instead of black drop to lower the screen to an appropriate viewing height. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in your ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets help make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does dimming this using an inline dimmer cause an audible hum? I'm trying to get new lights that don't do that. I know I can use scrims too, but I'd like the flexibility if possible. Thanks!

A: You're missing the point of these lamps. If you want to dim it, the best thing is the scrims. They are very effective. In addition, if you are opposed to using scrims for some reason, you have the option of pulling the bulb back. If you need more focus than when it is flooding, you can use barn doors, which you probably want any way. Finally, you can also use a 300W bulb instead of a 650W.

Q: 2. Will this strobe work with 3rd party modifiers, or only the supplied softboxes?

A: That model strobe uses the Elinchrom mount also called EX. There are a few different manufactures that make modifiers with that mount, Elinchrom, Impact and Interfit. Note to be careful when picking it out that it is the correct mount. Impact and Interfit make different mounts not just EX.

Q: 3. What color temperature do theses lights output?

A: 3200 Kelvin, or basic Tungsten. You can add color temperature gels to change it, which is what I did.

Q: 4. What is the maximum watt light you can use?

A: These monolights can only except a modeling lamp up to 60 watts. The strobes themselves offer 100 watt/sec of power on each.

Q: 5. I just received my impact EX-100A monolight today. And realized my cord is a European cord. I wanted to know if I am able to get an adapter for it so that it works, or do I have to return it?

A: Hi Sharlene, you have bought the 220V AC unit, so, you must know if where you are you have that electricity. If you are, you just need to buy the adapter. I have used mine in Chile where the electricity comes at 220V AC, but I needed an adapter to plugging in.

Q: 6. How long is the sync cord? Can you buy a sync cord in longer lengths?

A: The included sync cable is 15 feet long. You can an extension like the Impact Sync Cord Male PC to Female PC (16') B&H # IMPCMPCF16.

Q: 7. How hot do these lights get? What gloves would be sufficient protection?

A: This is a typical hot light. You will want leather gloves - or at least good heavy cloth work gloves if you need to handle this after it has been on for a few minutes and for at least up to about 20 minutes after it is shut off.

Q: 8. I have a Nikon D3300, Do I need to buy the PowerTrigger transmitter in order to make the Flash work? Or the sync cord will do the job.

A: I am not familiar with Nikon but I can tell you that the sync cord works with my Canon DSLR. As long as there is an outlet on the side of the camera, which there should be, it should work fine.

Q: 9. Does it have a dimmer?

A: No, there is no dimmer attached. You may wish to purchase one separately.

Q: 10. 5600 k or tungsten?

A: This kit would contain monolights, which produces a color temperature of 5600K.
