A: I would recommend contacting customer support at SKB and making them aware of the issue with the latches not holding the covers securely. The case is still under warranty. SKB does have replacement parts and may be able to offer an option for a different type latch, possibly with a lock to prevent the covers from becoming loose during transport. As an additional option for extra security, you may want to use a strap or bungee cord wrapped around the exterior and running through the side handles. A: Yes, it should not be a problem. We use it for a Lenova All-In-One 23 inch PC which has a stand with a wider base than the Dell monitor and it fits fine. Plenty of room for accessories also. The interior foam allows for a great deal of individualization.
