The SKB iSeries 5616-9 Waterproof Utility Case Emptyfrom SKB iSeries 5616-9 Waterproof Utility Case Emptyis molded of high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed, water and dust-tight, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J). It also features a molded-in hinge, patented trigger release latch system, comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handles, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage (MIL-STD-810F).

A: The SKB iSeries 3613-12 Waterproof Wheeled Utility Case (with Foam Insert) comes with a non-precut foam.

A: Unfortunately, there is no lid organizer compatible or dedicated to this case. The lid on the case is 36 x 13.5 and has a 2" depth. YOu can use the BH #PELO1510 but it won't be a perfect fit.

A: Both lights plus 2 stands under 34 inches (folded) should fit, as well as some cords and accessories. Removing the reflectors from the lights will allow for more packing options.

Q: 9. How many light stands do you think this would comfortably hold? Considering using this for four smallish stands and a couple strobes, plus accessories.

A: That will depend on the size of the light stands you are using when folded up, along with the additional components you pack in to this case. This case has interior dimensions of 35 x 12.5 x 10.5", you will want to stage your gear to see if they will fit within the specs above.

[33.9 lb] This case is being used to house 2 sennheiser lavalier transmitters, there assoicated lapel microphones elements and 4 AA batteries. I was easily able to remove the cube foam pieces that I needed to allow the above noted items. They fit snuggly and will last MUCH longer being safe and secure in this case than the microphone bag they were previously stored in. My employees also think it is pretty niffty. 5

[Latch] This case fits my needs perfectly. I wanted a one-case-for-all-my-gear solution that was still manageable size wise. It fits in the back of my vehicle for location shoots for easy access to everything... with a place for everything. No more carrying multiple bags and cases. I am organized and stay organized. 5

[33.9 lb] We originally bought 2 different cases to test them. The SKB iSeries was way better than the other brand. We ended up returning the one and get another SKB iSeries 3613-12 Case. 5

[Black] This case works perfectly to transport my video tripod, monopod, 4 light stands, mic boom pole, and there's still room for more! It's the perfect size for this purpose and works well as a checked bag when flying. I got it without any padding but I lined it with a moving blanket and then rolled up a second one to hold everything snug in the case. Most of that gear isn't very fragile, but I put a couple of things in their own soft padded bags too. Definitely would recommend this, especially if you'll be flying with your gear. I've have another case from this series for a few years and it has held up well so I expect the same with this one. 5
