Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What binder can hold these sleeves? Thanks

A: I'm using a standard three-ring binder I bought at an office store. The archival sleeves come with several different hole patterns, so they fit most any binder.

Q: 2. Have these sleeves passed the PAT test?

A: Yes they have been tested and passed.

Q: 3. Does this have a place for a contact sheet as well as sleeves for my negatives. In other words, does my negative and contact sheet stay together?

A: Yes, these are the ones with the sleeve for the contact sheet attached. They stay together.

Q: 4. What does "binder only" mean?

A: These pages are meant for a binder with the metal rings but you can store them in a box as well.

Q: 5. Eight 4x5 Polaroid prints or four 4x5 sleeved negatives or transparencies.I don't have sleeves on my negatives. Will these work to simply put my negatives in or would you recommend something else? Ron M

A: You don't need them, but they are highly recommended for storing negatives: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/442899-REG/Archival_Methods_31_003_Side_Lock_Film_Sleeves.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/442899-REG/Archival_Methods_31_003_Side_Lock_Film_Sleeves.html/a

Q: 6. Are these PAT certified?

A: As per the manufacturer, the Print File Archival Storage Page for Negatives, 35mm - 100 Pack would be PAT certified.

Q: 7. Does this have a pocket in the back to hold contact sheets?

A: Although this particular type of page doesn't have a pocket for a contact sheet in the back, we do have the Print File Archival Storage Pages for Contact Proofing Print & Negatives, 35mm (25 pack), BH # PR3575PP25 https://bhpho.to/3jfViwb

Q: 8. These are Print File code 120-3HB? Annoying that B and H doesn't actually use any of the print file codes to accurately list the products.

A: Yes it is item 120-3HB

Q: 9. Will these fit in the archival (plastic box-type) binders?

A: Yes.

Q: 10. On PrintFile website 010-0060 shows dimensions 10 7⁄8"W x 9 3⁄4"H. Which is correct?

A: The manufacturer website always trumps ours. I shall alert the Web Department. I apologize for any confusion and inconvenience.

[Polyethylene] Can't go wrong with Print File negative sleeves. They're made out of a high quality, thick plastic, while still remaining clear.

[Polyethylene] Didn't realize it when I purchased them, but the negative sheets also have a spot to put a contact sheet in the back. I prefer this both for ease of organizing and also because the rigidity further protects the film. The film loading area is a little tight, but I'd prefer it tighter than looser. 5/5

[Polyethylene] I've been using them for a long time. Easy to use and are great for storage. B&H and PrintFiles are really a great help in archiving rare and older film and prints.

[12 x 10 x 0.9"] I love these negative sleeves! They come with an attached sleeve for your contact sheets. This is convenient both for MAKING your contact sheet, STORAGE of your contact sheet, and for keeping track of your negatives. My only complaint would be that on a few of them (very few, considering I have bought many of these) the seam at the side of the pouch gave way. Other than that, I really love this product. It is a shame that recently I have only been able to find them in packets of 25, rather than 100.

[Polyethylene] These holders were meant for Polaroid prints or negatives which tended to be a bit larger than standard 4x5 negatives.  They have plenty of room for 4x5 negatives and easily store you 4x5 contact proofs if you happen to cut the sheet a little off (the varied size is not a problem.

[12 x 10 x 0.9"] I love this product so much because I can print a contact sheet and keep it with the negatives for eternity. The only downside is that it holds 35 frames (seven rows with five frames each) but most 35 MM rolls are 36 frames, so I either have to burn a frame, or I have to double sleeve one of the rows. Still worth it though!
