Q: 5. Can this kit be hung upside down safely when clamped to ceiling rigging?

[8.48 lb] Latch Lake is simply the best. You should be aware however that if you order this arm to be mounted on a non-Latch Lake stand, you will need to also purchase the "thread extender." It will be useless without it.

[8.48 lb] We do a lot of interviews for our documentaries and this mic stand is just the ticket. Strong, sturdy and sensibly designed, it gives me a lot of confidence when we set up that at least we don't have to worry about it. Once you handle it and set it up, you'll know why it cost a little more. My son is always telling me to buy nice or buy twice. I'm sure this stand will be around for a few generations. It's well worth the investment.

[8.48 lb] This mic stand is heavy but it feels like it will last forever! We bought a couple earlier this year and just added a few more to the studio because of how reliable and sturdy they are. They seem to be able to hold just about any sort of mic or piece of equipment we've tried putting on it with no question it would remain stable and strong. Highly recommend, especially for permanent setups!

[8.48 lb] I had several Quik Loc stands that needed new booms. These were just what I needed to replace the old booms rather than buy new stands!

[8.48 lb] I tend to make films on the go, so I attach this to a small backpack or in a suitcase. It is lightweight and does the trick. No, it is not indestructible and has plastic knobs...but it also weighs nothing and can hold a Sennheiser Mkh-416 (for example) with no problem.

[8.48 lb] We have two of these and maybe another 4 or 5 K&M mic stands. Love them all, worth the money. We hung these from the ceiling via threaded rod to support a couple of shotgun mics in our little video studio. We'd been using lav mics, but they're a pain, so we thought a couple of shotguns that could be permanently hung from the ceiling would be the thing to try. But we needed to be able to move the mics where we needed them, and that's where these booms came in. They work like a charm! Easy to balance, so that even at full extension, they hang level, and the threaded rods they hang from hang straight down. Just what we needed.

[8.48 lb] As a guitarist I had bought several pieces to hold my iPhones and iPads satisfy my needs, but none worked as best as this one. Now I switch between my iPhone and iPad pro without any issues and become more productive.
Thanks

[8.48 lb] Can't imagine why would anybody want to spend 5 - 10 times more for the same product. It is a commodity, like a door stopper. Anything would do the job. Then again, not being a pro I might not appreciate some fine nuances. For me, it does everything I need it to do.
