[21.6 Gbps] I use both Apple & PC computers, I have a 24 Apple monitor that I used for business presentations on occasion. With all the Pico / Portable projectors available I was able to lighten my travel load, but what do I do with my Apple monitor? This Link DVI allowed me to connect my 24 Apple monitor to my Windows PC and it works great. Gave away my old 24 Gateway monitor. I'm very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended for all working in a professional 4K post environment. The name is misleading... not only UHD but full 4096 x 2160 4K-DCI compatible.

[122 °F] Just moved and decided to upgrade everything. Bought this switcher to attached my Sony 4k Blu-ray Player, new Xfinity 4k X1 TVE box, Xbox One S 4K, and my Amazon Firestick (hopefully soon 4k) all into my Sony 4K TV. Works seamlessly and passes through the best ratings of audio and video. Small compact metal packaging to house everything and can be hidden using the supplied infrared extender cable for the remote. Highly recommended.

[32 °F] Just received this, plugged it in to my ancient ATI Radeon HD 5770 DVI-D port on my equally ancient MacPro 2006 model, and then into a far less ancient Dell U2717D monitor and without even having to mess with any settings on the Gefen device, I immediately started getting 2560x1440! At long last! Have tried numerous cable adapters that claimed to be DVD-D Dual Link - HDMI, but not one worked.


I have only few complaints.


1. The LED's on the front are really bright. Not something you want in you line of sight.


2. I haven't opened it, but I feel like it could easily be redesigned into an in-line adapter that would be much smaller. It truly weighs next to nothing.


3. The cost is pretty high, but at least B&H has it for (currently) more than $50 less than what Amazon is selling it for. For the cost, it really could have included DVI and Mini-DP cables.


None of which makes want to give it less than 5 stars as now I can run all three ports from my video card at 2560x1440 which is just awesome!

[4.76 oz] Ordered for a corporate event next week. My setup uses an Epson projector shown on a 120 screen, Sony FS100 camcorderandtwo LG55 LED's. Feed is coming froma Roland V-1HD video switcher into the Gefen splitter. So far, all dry runs have been trouble free. Next text will be on Monday when I incorporate 4 Gefen hdmi extenders. Will update then.

[21.6 Gbps] I use this product to extend my vga signal to 200 ft and it still works and it looks great. no signal interference and n signal quality loss.

[2.445 lb] I needed this booster to use a 27" Eizo display 10 meters from a TouchBar MacBook Pro. I used a 1.80m Startech USB-C to Display Port cable from the MBP to the booster, and a 10m DP to DP cable from the booster to the screen. Turned all on, and everything worked fine. Not all the cables and booster I tried before worked. This one does.

[4.76 oz] This unit replaces another brand system that just konked out. I like that it provides power to the remote over the Cat-5 cable. There are adjustments on the remote top compensate for any cable loss and brightness. Plug and play at its finest.
