A: hii don't believe you can change only the clamp, it doesn't work the ska way i think, you probably have to change the whole quick release

A: Technically, you can see through the center; however, there is a ledge around the circumference of the interior that separates the two different-sized threads and acts as a stop against the top of the threaded post you are screwing it to.

A: What I can tell you is that it is works with a standard microphone clip. I just looked up the standard threads per inch in a standard microphone clip. The answer I got was 5/8-27.
