One baby pin is threaded female 1/4ʺ-20 and the other female 3/8ʺ-16 threaded for flexibility in the type of gear you can mount.

Lock the position of the pivot arms and baby pins simply by twisting the adjustable wheel lock control. Further adjustment to the positioning of your equipment is made by altering the tension of the internal locking mechanism.

The pins at the end of each arm are capable of swiveling on their ball-and-socket joints providing extra flexibility for positioning your equipment.

[2.5 lb] Great support arm. Works well with any brand of super clamp. I use this as part of a rig to mount a camera behind a backboard at college basketball games.

[2.5 lb] I got the Impact Pivot Arm to hold a ring light (to reflect the light off a white card so the rings of doom do not show in my glasses.)
IT WORKS. The arm holds the light, is easily adjustable and avoids having to have leg-tangling space-hogging tripods clutter up my small room. Delighted with this.
