This L-plate allows for both horizontal and vertical shooting, making it easy to swap between either orientation when used with compatible RRS dovetail equipment. A: Unfortunately Really Right Stuff L-Plate Set for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II and Mark III is not compatible with that Manfrotto 804 tripod head.

[QD] This is adjustable, and the contour fit my EM-1ii perfectly. It has adjustments with an Allen wrench that adheres to the base with magnets. What a great idea! No more, where is my wrench? 5

[Yes] Perfectly tailored to fit both my OMD EM1 Mark II and III bodies. Superior construction and design, well thought out design. Magnetic Allen key storage on the underside hollow area is a thoughtful feature. The removable 'L' part of the base/bracket is easy to work with, and the base plate adds just enough depth for better 'pinky finger' grip comfort. The only criticism I have for this product has to do with the small fastener assembly that sits in the palm of my (right) hand when gripping the camera. It protrudes about a millimetre and I feel it when gripping the body - especially when weighted with a front heavy telephoto lens attached. I'm not overly concerned about it, as I applied a small amount of resin in the immediate vicinity to smooth it out. It's now comfortable. Possibly not an issue in general, but something to know about. Overall: 9.8/10 ! 5

[Yes] This is a super L-plate. It fit my OM-D E-M1 Mark II like a glove. When I replaced my Mark II with a Mark III I was concerned I would lose the utility of the L-plate. No problem! The plate moved from one body to the other without a hitch and looks like it was made for the Mark III. I don't understand why RRS, B&H and other supplies don't advertise this fact. 5
