A: No, the RF extenders do not work with the EF-RF adapter. The EF-RF adapter doesn't fit over the RF 1.4 or 2.0x teleconverters/extenders. The only way to use a teleconverter with the EF-RF adapters is to use an EF-teleconverter. A: Yes it can scale 1080p HDMI in to 720p/60 out, video goes out both the Composite and Component video ports at the same time, in fact if you just press the 720p/60 button on the bottom of the remote then everything will be done. Audio is also extracted and will go out both the S/PDIF audio port and L & R RCA audio jacks, it samples audio at 48 KHz.

A: No, they are not compatible. All Canon RF to EF adapters have a narrow square shape opening on the back; therefore, the Canon Extender RF 2x front optic cannot fit through the adapter.
