[42 mm] These are really good binoculars and perform as well as other brands costing almost twice as much. The features all add up to my favorite pair of binoculars. I am very, very happy with them.

[11 mm] Great little binoculars for the car or bush walking. Extremely light, good clear image and eye relief. A little stiff in the focus knob initially, but soon smooths out. A solid yet lighter replacement for my 25 year old Nikon Porro type 8 x 23 (now a 'monocular' with only one tube working and sadly a repair too expensive). The build quality suggests I should get many years out of these as well. Good solid belt case comes with it so no need to upgrade it.

[Roof (BAK4)] Spent an unseemly amount of time researching binoculars before buying these for my fiance's birthday. They seemed like the best combination of options for the price point and a fair bit beyond. They are about the lighest in their class and have the widest field of view of any of the other 10x42s that I found. That part really helps especially when seeking out smaller subjects like birds. Other binoculars I tried had a hazy appearance unless the light was perfect these ones are much more forgiving for use under tree cover or on cloudy days. There's long eye relief and a good grip. It would be nice to have a higher quality case at this price point. My Nikon prostaff 3s cost less than half the price and have a nicer case. But, you're not buying these for the case you're buying them for the excellent optics and for that they are a perfect choice I would definitely buy Celestron trailseekers again. They may have spoiled me for anything lower quality.

B&H shipped quickly and I had them in time for my partner's birthday and she loves them even more than I do.

[11 mm] I have a pair of 10x56 Vortex binoculars that I use for hunting.  Because of the 56x objective lens they are very heavy and as a result I set out to find some binoculars that were lighter to carry around.  I also found that the 10x opcital zoom was hard for me to keep steady.  I have started doing more birding than hunting and thought the 8x optical might be a better all around choice.  Found these by reading a Birds & Blooms magazine where they were talking about different binoculars and had recommended them.  These are very light weight and compact, lots of eye relief, feel solid and good in your hands.  The lens are bright and clear all the way to the edges (where as my Vortex were a little hazy on the edges).  I am loving the 8x vs. 10x as well.  Case and neck strap are also very nice.  I would definitely buy again.

[Center] Love the size and ease of handling. Could have used a little instruction on the chest harness.

[Roof (BAK4)] This is my first real set of binoculars, prior to purchasing the Endeavor ED 10x42 I always had the el cheapo bino's from * or your local outdoor store--no more than $50.I debated which pair to get: 8x42 or 10x42. I opt'd for the farther reach of the 10x magnification and don't regret it. The first place I tested it was the zoo and it was a completely different experience. I spent over half an hour watching various outdoor and indoor exhibits. The Good: If you plan to spend less than $500, you'd be hard pressed to find a better pair that has the long laundry list of features on this pair of binoculars has.The Bad: I have noticed chromatic aberration (purple fringing) on branches and leaves/foliage, especially in daylight sunny conditions but it doesn't bother me very much.If you're picky about having a 100% chromatic aberration free sight picture, plan to drop a few extra hundred dollars but if you can live with it, well worth your money.

[4.2 mm] I'm no expert on binoculars. But I know good optical quality when I see it. Bang for your buck. Plus they aren't enormous and cumbersome.

[4.2 mm] I have been a long time customer of Vortex optics. I was looking for a good pair of low light binoculars so I started looking for 56mm objective lens pairs. Vortex used to make the Vulture's in 8x56 but since discontinued them. I started shopping for other brands and came across this pair. The price was in my budget, and the fact that it was a German based company I thought would be a positive to so I took a chance on them. Let me tell you, these binoculars are nothing short of awesome. Everything is top notch, from the packaging they come in to the carrying case, neck strap and optics themselves. I can be very picky when it comes to purchases (especially at this price point) and I can't find one thing to complain about. I get on the deer stand with these 2 hours before day break with just moon light and I can see my feeder and movement in fields clearly. They are 56mm objective lens so naturally they are a little bulkier and heavier than say a 42mm binocular but well worth the extra size and weight for me. I love them, I gave my old Vortex to my kids because after using these I don't want to use anything else. I highly recommend them. I attached an un-boxing video in case it might help.

[10x] These binoculars are well made and the image is bright and clear. In fact, they have a brighter image than my Leupold Cascades. The only negative is the focus. The focus is just to fast. These binoculars will be out of focus with as little as 1/32 of an inch rotation. If extremely sensitive focus isn't an issue for you, then these binoculars are highly recommended. Can't imagine finding better for the price.

[10x] Bought these for myself and gave my 8x42 Trailseeker ED to my wife. Are in Ecuador currently. My bins are great early morning/late evening - out dueling my camera for birding. Spotting Antpittas is no small task!
Meeting all my expectations.
