Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the body made out of and what country are the binoculars made in

A: Hard to tell body, hinging is metal, all else is covered in heavy rubber: extremely solid build. Made in China

Q: 2. Does this come with the caring case and a neck strap?

A: Yes, it does. I do not personally like or use any hard carrying case, but the neck strap is really good.

Q: 3. Hi BH! What are the ocular lens diameter (not objective lens, wich is 25 mm)?

A: Exit Pupil Diameter 3.1 mm

Q: 4. Is it correct that the 8x32 Conquest HD has only a 1 year transferable warranty, whereas the 8x42 Conquest HD has a limited lifetime transferable warranty?

A: Hi Michael,All products in the Conquest (and Victory) lines are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, as well as a 5-Year No-Fault warranty; this of course includes the 8x32 Conquest Binoculars.

Q: 5. The previous version, the Celestron Nobel 8X32 were said to have excellent eye relief for those who wear glasses. These seem to have narrower eye relief. What are other eyeglass weare's experiences with these binoculars?

A: We haven't really had any feedback other than positive. As in the reviews indicate. The Eye Relief is 15.6 mm.

Q: 6. Hi, I am confused between Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker (which is Dielectric Coated and lite in weight) and Celestron 8x42 Nature DX ED (which has Extra-Low-Dispersion but no Dielectric Coating). The price difference currently is $30. Which one should I go for? Please help. Thanks Chy

A: The Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker Binoculars (Green) with the dielectric coatings would be the better quality binoculars, but with a 32mm objective which is considered a compact binocular. The Celestron 8x42 Nature DX ED Binoculars while not as good optically have a 42mm objective for greater light gathering capabilities. I would suggest choosing the size you want first, and then take it from there.

Q: 7. Near sighted owners: how are these bins for glasses wearer.

A: Near- or far- sighted people may use this binocular with or without their glasses, depending on personal preference and the extent of their far/near- sightedness. The focus is adjustable for each eye individually (but is centrally driven for convenience).

Q: 8. What are the dimensions, weight?

A: Already measured so here goes anyway. Check against specs. Weight in very protective transport case is 1#14.5 oz and without case but with caps and neckstrap the weight is 14.5 oz. Case measurements are 5-3/4 by 5-1/4 by 2-1/4 deep.

Q: 9. Are Eschenbach binos German-made?

A: They are made in China.

Q: 10. Where do I get the eye cups for non glasses wearers?

A: The ZEISS 8x32 Conquest HD Binocular has Twist-up rubber eyecups for use with or without eye wear. So you can use them with or without glasses.

[2.4 lb] Great little binoculars for the car or bush walking. Extremely light, good clear image and eye relief. A little stiff in the focus knob initially, but soon smooths out. A solid yet lighter replacement for my 25 year old Nikon Porro type 8 x 23 (now a 'monocular' with only one tube working and sadly a repair too expensive). The build quality suggests I should get many years out of these as well. Good solid belt case comes with it so no need to upgrade it.

[4 mm] I have a pair of 10x56 Vortex binoculars that I use for hunting.  Because of the 56x objective lens they are very heavy and as a result I set out to find some binoculars that were lighter to carry around.  I also found that the 10x opcital zoom was hard for me to keep steady.  I have started doing more birding than hunting and thought the 8x optical might be a better all around choice.  Found these by reading a Birds & Blooms magazine where they were talking about different binoculars and had recommended them.  These are very light weight and compact, lots of eye relief, feel solid and good in your hands.  The lens are bright and clear all the way to the edges (where as my Vortex were a little hazy on the edges).  I am loving the 8x vs. 10x as well.  Case and neck strap are also very nice.  I would definitely buy again.

[8x] After doing hours and hours of research, I finally settled on this pair of binoculars for birding and wildlife spotting. I'm very pleased with the decision. The quality of image is absolutely great, and they're very portable. I haven't tried them in low light yet but they're supposed to be exceptional in this area. There's a good reason why this model was rated the top 2018 mid-size travel and safari binocular by Best Binoculars Review. Also, their customer service is first rate.

[11 mm] I wanted another pair of small binoculars to carry around. I have the Steiner Wildlife 8x24 and I bought these Eschenbach 8x25 after reading a review of another Eschenbach product. These were 20% less expensive than the Steiner and maybe slightly better glass. Very small and portable. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

[11 mm] I have been a long time customer of Vortex optics. I was looking for a good pair of low light binoculars so I started looking for 56mm objective lens pairs. Vortex used to make the Vulture's in 8x56 but since discontinued them. I started shopping for other brands and came across this pair. The price was in my budget, and the fact that it was a German based company I thought would be a positive to so I took a chance on them. Let me tell you, these binoculars are nothing short of awesome. Everything is top notch, from the packaging they come in to the carrying case, neck strap and optics themselves. I can be very picky when it comes to purchases (especially at this price point) and I can't find one thing to complain about. I get on the deer stand with these 2 hours before day break with just moon light and I can see my feeder and movement in fields clearly. They are 56mm objective lens so naturally they are a little bulkier and heavier than say a 42mm binocular but well worth the extra size and weight for me. I love them, I gave my old Vortex to my kids because after using these I don't want to use anything else. I highly recommend them. I attached an un-boxing video in case it might help.
