The elegant Eschenbach Optik 10x25 Club B Binocularsfrom Eschenbach Optik are compact, lightweight binoculars with a pedigree; they are the successor to the model selected in 1990 for the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection due to their striking design.

At 4.6 x 4.1" and weighing just 8.1 ounces, the Club B binoculars are small enough for a jacket pocket, but it's the BAK4's prisms and full multi-coated optics that produce a bright, clear image for the theater, sporting events, sightseeing, and all-around use. The binoculars are watertight and nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging. The knurled center-focus knob makes it easy to achieve a sharp focus, and eyeglass users will appreciate the twist-up eyecups and adjustable diopter.

The Club B binoculars come with a leather carry case, a strap, and lens covers.

Q: 5. what is the difference between this model and the ultravids?

A: The Ultavids are waterproof. These are not. The Ultavids are full of pressurized nitrogen(?) gas that supposedly allow for more light and have better coating on the glass. The actual glass is the same though. Basically the Ultavids are slightly brighter and are waterproof.

[7 x 5.7 x 2.9"] I have spent up to $400.00 and nothing has beat out the Nikon 10 X 25 Travelite Binoculars.  I have tried other Nikon, Leupould, Bushnell, etc.  You really have to spend a lot more to get better optics.  I have bought 3 other pairs and compared them side by side and they don’t justify the difference in quality or expense.  This is the Best Buy I have seen for the money and I have owned a pair of these for over ten years.  A lot of other binoculars have the eye adjustment that screws out away from the binocular about one inch and it seems to make the binoculars cockeyed, uncomfortable, and out of focused to me.  These have two adjustments for focusing, the right eye piece has a ring that turns in increments for adjustment, the adjusting wheel in the center of the binoculars has a smooth turning motion for focusing.  Overall measurement is 4 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches 2 1/2 inches tall.  They have a cheap vinyl carrying case with a belt loop and the eye protection covers pop in and out without attaching to the binoculars.  The case and eye covers could be improved but you cannot beat the price and quality of the binoculars unless you spend at least $400 to $500 dollars more.  Thank you.

[1.45 lb] Great little binoculars for the car or bush walking. Extremely light, good clear image and eye relief. A little stiff in the focus knob initially, but soon smooths out. A solid yet lighter replacement for my 25 year old Nikon Porro type 8 x 23 (now a 'monocular' with only one tube working and sadly a repair too expensive). The build quality suggests I should get many years out of these as well. Good solid belt case comes with it so no need to upgrade it.

[Center] Swarovski 10x52 NL Pure is a wonderful new addition to the NL Pure line. Super sharp / Super resolution. Great performance in low light.
Ergonomics are so comfortable in the hands. The just over a half inch in barrel length and roughly 6 ounces in additional weight versus the Swarovski 10x42 NL Pure are so worth it for the gain in low light performance and resolution. The 10x52 NL Pure is now my go to Binocular. B&H is a terrific seller, I have been buying from them since the early 90's. Thank you B&H for the fast shipping and very good shipment packaging.

[1.45 lb] I have a pair of 10x56 Vortex binoculars that I use for hunting.  Because of the 56x objective lens they are very heavy and as a result I set out to find some binoculars that were lighter to carry around.  I also found that the 10x opcital zoom was hard for me to keep steady.  I have started doing more birding than hunting and thought the 8x optical might be a better all around choice.  Found these by reading a Birds & Blooms magazine where they were talking about different binoculars and had recommended them.  These are very light weight and compact, lots of eye relief, feel solid and good in your hands.  The lens are bright and clear all the way to the edges (where as my Vortex were a little hazy on the edges).  I am loving the 8x vs. 10x as well.  Case and neck strap are also very nice.  I would definitely buy again.

[25 mm] Wanted a nice pair of opera glasses (for the opera, actually) and wanted something very traditional and stylish. These hit the mark, and the optics are very good as well. Can't wait for the shut-downs to lift so I can actually use them.

[1.45 lb] Image quality is very good, true to color, despite the small 18mm lenses they are very good in low light. I used them as opera glasses and they are perfect due to their clarity and the wide field of view. Outdoors they are also nice to use due to the wide field of view. I didn't think the close focussing distance of about 20 inch is very useful but it turns out it's nice to look at flowers, butterflies, frogs and other shy wildlife. They are also super lightweight. That helps a lot for their use as Opera glasses. They seem to be sturdy though. The right diopter once adjusted seems to stay the same throughout the entire focussing distance. The lenses are recessed and well protected from accidental touching and scratches. The eye relief is good. The only drawbacks I can think of is that they might not be the most robust Bino's due to their lightweight construction and the overall look of the white plastic housing looks a bit cheap. A grey-ish finish like expensive DSLR lenses would have been better. The ocular rubber can be folded over to use them with glasses on. This is a bit cumbersome when you hand the binoculars back and forth to your partner who doesn't have glasses. A system like on my 8x20 Zeiss binoculars would have been better.
