A: Sorry the measurements edge to edge is 13.4" wide not 31.4" (13.4" x 11.6" x 7.1") The width of the Beam angle of coverage is 120 degrees.

[6' / 1.8 m] I purchased this stand, along with a some other accessories for simple, in-house company head shots, and it works perfectly. Build quality is fine, and unless being used in harsh conditions, I see this lasting a long time. It could fold up to a smaller size, but not a big deal. 5

[Black] These stands are a great value and are super reliable as long as you're not putting too much weight on them. If they get knocked or blown over, you might have one of the plastic collars crack, which I attribute to user error, but otherwise they're excellent stands that have served me well. 5

[6' / 1.8 m] I purchased this light stand for portraits. This is a solid light stand that is the perfect height for most standing portraits. It is solid enough to handle a 24x24 softbox with a Canon speedlite. Very easy to expand and put away. I would recommend this stand. 5
