Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this product fit a Canon R6, w/100-500 RF Lens?

A: Yes, the LensCoat RainCoat Pro (Realtree Max4 camouflage) will work with the Canon EOS R6 and the RF 100-500mm lens.

Q: 2. Is it work for Sigma 150-600mm Sport version Len?

A: I use it on a 300 2:8 all I can say is check size it should fit if send it back I will say it's a great cover and beats the plastic ones are used to use

Q: 3. What is the difference between the RainCoat Pro (Realtree Max4) and the RainCoat Pro (Realtree Max5)?

A: The following units are one in the same. Only difference is the camo pattern they come in.

Q: 4. Is this product actually waterproof?

A: LensCoat's RainCoat Pro uses a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable poly tricot material.

Q: 5. It will fit my Camera Canon 5D 111 with the 500 mm Canon with hood?

A: Works very well with my 5D3 and 500 f/4, with and without teleconverters. Took one practice session, but I was then able to place in driving wind and rain in less than a minute. Really keeps you gear dry, with excellent access to you controls. Folds up in a pouch that can be used to protect you gear in transit, act as a cushion, or protect you shoulder when carrying the tripod-mounted camera + lens.

Q: 6. Is it difficult to change lens on body in rain with lenscoat raincoat attached to the camera body ?

A: Yes, it could be awkward.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Wimberley Sidekick?

A: It may depending on the size of your lens & camera set up. You may also need a gimbal cover, something also made by the LensCoat company that covers the gimbal head by itself, then the RainCoat Standard of larger model, pending what size you need for you particular set up, would mount onto your camera & lens! The bottom has an opening that would allow you to mount onto the gimbal but the thing that I am concerned with is the side mounting of the lens onto the Sidekick! This unit is made so that the mount is on the bottom & the other openings for you hand to slide into so you can reach the controls of the camera body. You may want to ask someone at B&H Photo for there expertise of these items are & they may suggest an alternative model that would better suit your needs! ... Hope this helps with your decision! I love my model but I have never used a sidekick with it so this model might not work as needed! ... Contact Customer Service at the store for a more precise detailed description & maybe an alternative to your needs! ...

Q: 8. Is this long enough for the canon 600mm f4?

A: Yes, the LensCoat RainCoat Pro is long enough for a Canon EF 600mm f/4 lens.

Q: 9. Can this rain cover be used in conjunction with a Gimbal head that is mounted on my tripod?

A: I would say yes. I use a pan and tilt head not a gimbal and the rain coat works fine. The way it attaches leaves the lens foot and plate exposed.

Q: 10. whats the maximum diameter of the lens that it can handle ? I have a hood that is 5 inches in diameter .

A: I just measured it with my 4 1/2 inch hood and there was a good two inches more room left. It is an impressive rain coat.

[0.685 lb] I bought this sleeve to protect my Nikon 80-400mm lens on my D500. I think it's smartly designed and is made of high quality materials.

[0.685 lb] After a recent 5 day shoot in mixed cold and wet weather I can easily say this product is just right. It kept the lenses and camera body dry; afforded easy viewfinder visibility and had the added benefit of allowing warm hands.

[Universal] I love raincoat products. They seem well thought out and the materials are of high quality (although at first I thought they were a little flimsy) and have withstood my stress tests. I like the different appearance options and I have both camo and navy items.

[Camouflage] No, it doesn't rain that much in Arizona, but it can sure get dusty...and hot. Choose the AP Snow to reflect as much of the sun as possible. As far as dust? Well water is finer than dust and it keeps out both. And, the northern California coast isn't that far away and that's where the raincoat got it's first use. No dust but lots of rain in the Redwood parks. Worked great, easy on, easy off, drys quickly. So, water or dust, my gear is protected. Finally B&H service as always is impeccable. Decided to order on a whim on Tuesday, leaving on Friday. Got two day expedited delivery, arrived on Thursday, left for the coast on Friday. All Good. Well worth the investment. Only complaint is it doesn't fold as small as my previous rain covering, but is much sturdier. I'll accept that trade off.

[Universal] I got the medium one for myself and decided that my wife needed one as well for her camera and lens.

[Universal] I have not used this yet but it fits the camera nicely. I have used the plastic version and it was awkward to use. This gives me plenty of room in the back to see my screen while still having it covered.
