A: The TTL-O remote is only compatible with 3 very specific Olympus models. There is no TTL or HSS support for the Panasonic cameras.

A: B&H has this listed under the recommended accessories for the B2, but Profoto's website says that this fast charger should not be used with the B2. Stick with the regular 2.8A charger for B2 according to Profoto.

Q: 6. As long as I understand, there are two Profoto speedring mount. This light what speedring uses?

A: Profoto only has one type of mount for their studio strobe lights; the side that mounts to the light fixture is identical. However, they have different speedrings depending on the light modifier you are using and on the light fixture you own. The difference is the rod connection used for the speedrings, and the type of softbox you will use on the light fixture. The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL OCF Monolight is considered both a studio monolight and a part of Profoto's OCF (Off-Camera Flash) system. As such, you may use their Profoto RFi Speed Ring for Profoto Flash Heads, B&H # PRSRP, when using Profoto light modifiers with "RFi" in the name, or you may use the Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads, B&H # PROCFSR, with Profoto's OCF flash modifiers with "OCF" in the name. If you are using a third-party universal softbox, I would recommend the Impact Speed Ring for Profoto, B&H # IMSRPRO, for your usage needs.

Q: 8. Will this work in a B1X 500Air TTL? My existing battery failed after about 10 hours of use!!! This has different Energy/capacity and Nominal/Charge voltage than the one I have.

Q: 9. can i Sync with Canon 5D Camera?

A: Yes. You would just need a Profoto Air Remote for wireless syncing and control. It also has the ability to use other wireless triggers or wired.

The lights are powerful, flexible and, with the optional Profoto transmitter, TTL compatible. They also have a Freeze mode for ultra-short flash duration, for the purpose of stopping fast motion. Also HSS and 2nd-curtain sync compatible. The kit also includes a battery charger and car charger. The backpack is large enough to also store a Profoto gel/grid kit, a Profoto transmitter, the collapsible snoot and two additional batteries. Additionally, it has two external pocked that are sized and shaped to hold collapsible umbrellas or small light stands. With this package, it's easy to put together a completely self-contained and portable OCF lighting kit. 5

[LED] Two of my three original B1/B2 chargers have developed issues after several years of average. They stopped charging properly and started doing weird things with their LED lights. This replacement charger is expensive, but it does what it needs to do well. The LEDs show you exactly how much charge is still left on the battery and how much charging the charger still needs to do. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but given how expensive it is, I hope it lasts. 5

[4.6 x 3.8 x 3"] I have a number of Profoto B1 and B1X heads and was happy when this higher capacity battery was announced together with the B1X head, while being fully compatible with the older B1 heads. The battery also has an LED bar indicating its charge, which is very handy when the battery is not on the strobe and you want to quickly check battery charge status. 5
