[0.2 lb] In reading reviews for this vs the Leica model, I agree that the small angle of the the thumb rest (which the Leica model is not supposed to have), makes a big difference for comfort and handling. I don't know why I waiting so long to get the Match Tech model. From the photo, you can see the angle I'm referring to.

[0.2 lb] This makes photographing with the Leica so much more comfortable. I am not sure why Leica doesn't just increase the size of the thumb grip already on the body. The problem with the Thumbs Up Grip is it slides into the hot shoe making it impossible to use the Vizoflex.

[Brass, Rubber] I had a ThumbsUp for my Leica M9 and really liked it, so I got another. This, for the M10 fits perfectly and really helps balance and secure the camera. It is snug against the body, allows for the menu wheel to be accessed easily, and is shaped just right for your hand. Also, for those who use a protective leather case it makes it easier to hold. I don't usually get so excited about a simple milled piece of metal, but this is great craftsmanship. And while everything Leica seems over-priced, this seem worth it. (shop around, B&H was the least expensive?at the Leica store you will pay $50 more!) Finally, have to say that the finish and color (black in my case) is a perfect match to the camera. Well done.

[Brass, Rubber] This thumb grip fits perfectly on the M10 and substantially increases the ergonomics of the camera. The fit is perfect in the M10's hot shoe and will not fall out under any circumstances.

[Brass, Rubber] The Match Technical Thumbs Up fits my camera perfectly and makes it infinitely easier to grip with one hand. I use them on all of my cameras.

[0.2 lb] Initially skeptical but now can't imagine the camera without the Thumbs Up grip - I carry my M10 in a shoulder bag as I am not a big fan of walking around with the camera dangling from my neck. The Thumbs Up gives me such a secure feeling when handling the camera - I might think about switching from a neck strap to a wrist strap for added insurance, but walking with the camera in one hand no longer feels foolish. I honestly think for the price of the M10 one of these should be included in every purchase!

[0.2 lb] This grip works great and it fits perfectly. The closest thing to a nit is that the paint is not an exact match to the M10. That’s minor and it really doesn’t matter to me. It does substantially improve the handling of the camera with one hand.

[0.2 lb] As with my Q, I ordered and installed a Thumbs Up for my M10. It's the perfect companion, reviving that familiar grip we were accustomed to with a film wind lever. A real must.
