[Brass, Rubber] Matching perfectly with leica q-p!

[0.23 lb] I’ve had my Leica Q-P for over 2 years and was interested in improving its ability to be gripped safely in one hand. The Leica Q handgrip is helpful, but has certain drawbacks.After extensive research I decided to purchase the Match Technical. Reviews of other similar devices, mostly less expensive ones, mentioned imperfect fit and slippage in the flash slot and difficulty with access to the Zoom back button as well as a less substantial build. The Match Technical grip eliminates all of these issues. It’s substantial, fits perfectly without any slippage in the flash slot, it’s finish is an exact match to my Q-P and most importantly, gives me confidence that my camera is now in a “secure” hand.
I believe that this device is well worth its price and I can highly recommend it.

[Brass, Rubber] Absolutely love how much easier it is to handle the camera while walking around. I feel more sure of myself with this on there. Only complaint is that it took me some practice to get familiar with a new way to handle and adjust the top nob while the grip is on. No issues after discovering a new placement for my fingers. Love this.

[Brass, Rubber] High quality machining fits perfectly with rubber bumpers to protect the camera. Makes holding the camera more ergonomically pleasant. Grip arrived from B&H is excellent time given I live in Alberta (Canada).

[Brass, Rubber] If you are debating weather to purchase this grip or the newer slight more expensive version of the grip for your Leica Q-P do yourself a favor and buy this one. I purchased both and ended up returning V.2 for a couple of reasons: 1) IMO this version has a slight edge over build quality, it feels more solid overall 2) The new version comes with a small hex key to tighten the grip which can be easily misplaced or lost. In comparison this version is a perfect fit without the hassle of having to tighten it with a hex key. Hope this helps make your decision easier. [Brass, Rubber] I have owned a Match Technical Thumbs Up on 2 Fuji cameras and now the Q, top notch quality and worth the money. I am not sure why some reported issues with this coming loose, so far it works exactly as it should and I see no reason to go to the locking style.
