There are ample storage compartments for other camera accessories as well. When fully outfitted the bag with camera is very heavy to carry especially through airports. Although the bag is advertised as carry-on it is not well accepted by the airlines as the bag is technically longer than carry-on bag specifications with some carriers. I had trouble putting the bag in the overhead compartment. It just barely fit the vertical space and took up much of the compartment. Delta Airlines gave me grief about brining it on board on a recent flight to NYC. Then to top it off, the bag absolutely will not fit in a smaller commuter plane as the overhead storage is very small. This was a serious problem on one local flight. Fortunately a cabin attended stuffed the bag under the seat next to the emergency exit. I don't think the FAA would have approved this.No question this is an ideal bag for the URSA.
