A: This item is just the cradle that holds the boom pole. The mount that is shown in gray in the photo is a grip head which is not included, but we do have them available separately. A: I have found that my boom pole will sometimes swing around in the socket from the weight of the boom mic. I certainly would not trust this setup to an expensive camera. you might want to try something with mafer clamps for more security. don't forget sandbags!
