[Black] I have built a 30 by 30 by 30 light box for our product photography,
these lights are perfect for what we need to do! Lightweight, portable and the correct amount of luminescence through the white sheer curtains we use.

[Black] As I am not a pro, and do not have a lot of light stands, etc. I got this product so I could mount my flash off camera on a small tripod or standard tripod. I use my Joby Gorilla Pod. It works great. One of the best items I own.

[Black] Stupid simple, and basically just a nice solid bit of chromed steel.. but it makes a C-stand so much more versatile. My favorite trick is that I use the upside down pin to hang a light head, which allows me to get a light almost 2-feet lower than with it mounted on top of a c-stand. This helps a ton with the product work I do. Also functions as a mini-boom, so you can get a light out over a table surface, for example.

[Aluminum] Ordered these to use with my strobes after a plastic hot shoe failed and one of my flashes took a nose dive from a stair railing. Thankfully there was a Christmas tree below it to break its fall to the flash survived, but the plastic hot shoes are gone from my kit. This feel solid and works great. No-brainer of an upgrade.

[Aluminum] Tell everyone you know that still has those old junky shoes that don't adjust, to go out and buy these!. Solid constuction, big adjustment know. Just perfect.

[Black] First of all, this offset arm is very well built and seems to be able to handle heavy loads, such as strobes with accessories. I purchased this after my umbrella-like Wescott Apollo strip and orb softboxes, that require placing the strobe inside the softbox, made it almost impossible to tilt the softbox in any meaningful way. This item solved the problem by extending the distance between the stand and the strobe/softbox. Now I can tilt the softboxes vertically(up/down) in a variety of ways using the tilt feature that comes with most strobe units. This arm also allows you to place the strobe unit in an upside down position for even further flexibility. Unfortunately, this arm does not allow you to turn, twist and tilt the softbox such as you get with a traditional speed-ring set up. However, for most situations it should work fine.
