Harness a lifetime of the legendary optical craftsmanship, engineering, and mechanical precision with the ZEISS 3-18x50 Conquest V6 Riflescope. This fine telescopic sight is centered around an expertly designed 6x SuperZoom optical system that utilizes superior components such as high-transmission ZEISS FL fluoride lenses for delivering high-contrast, high-detail, and true-color vivid images. To enhance optical performance and image brightness even further, bringing total throughput to 92%, the lenses are fully multi-coated with ZEISS' proprietary T* anti-reflection coatings. To maintain this high standard of performance even in adverse weather conditions, the exterior lens surfaces are enhanced with LotuTec hydrophobic coatings, which let droplets slide without streaks and allow wiping off dust and dirt without traces.

To help with precision shot placements, this riflescope also provides a German #4 style Reticle 6. This second focal plane reticle offers three posts and a thin crosshair.

Measuring only 13.3" (33.4 cm) in length, the high-quality aluminum housing is engineered with strength, durability, precision in mind. It features a 30mm maintube and offers a waterproof, fogproof, and submersible performance. Among other highlights are BT finger-adjustable graduated turrets and knurled knobs and rings. The magnification ring also features a low-profile lever for instant zoom adjustments.

[30 mm] I bought one of the last pairs of the Zeiss Conquest HD 8x56 from weeks of research. These are being replaced with the new incoming HDX series. The price on these, right below $1500, was my max budget. I wanted a pair of low light binos for hunting late into the evening or early morning. These have exceeded my expectations. From testing, I was a able to view a whipporwill bird late after sunset one evening on a tree branch about 50 yards away. To my surprise, I was able to clearly see the very fine details in the birds feathers, even noting it's eyes blinking with such clarity and perfectly balanced color/contrasting. The other test was a late evening sit across a 1/2 acre food plot surrounded by trees. Even at 45 minutes past sunset on a quarter moon clear evening, I was able to see the fine details in the tree bark 150 yards from my stand to back of food plot. I was able to sit a full 55 minutes after sunset with the assumption to recognize and identify deer to shoot (our law is legal harvest 1 hour past sunset or 1 hour before sunrise). These Zeiss Conquest 8x56 easily allow me another 10-15 minutes of dimming light ( late evening or early morning hunting), which can make a difference in hunting highly pressured bucks, in comparing to my $500 8x42 binos of another well known brand. I heavily researched other brands that were less expensive and more expensive but these seem to fit my needs as a great balance with performance and cost. These Zeiss Conquest HD 8x56 will now be a part of my permanent gear carried into the field for gun hunting.

[3.26 lb] I bought one of the 8x42 models and just recently the 8x56....they are wonderful instruments for the price and the Zeiss guarantee is exceptional, too. I have some more expensive Leica and Swarovski binoculars around and they are excellent, but unless you want to spend $2k more, buy a Conquest HD model, you won't be sorry.

[30 mm] This pair of binoculars is phenomenal. I purchased them to maximize my low light viewing for hunting, fishing, and bird watching and they have exceeded my expectations. My deer hunting does not involve super long distances so the 8X magnification is perfect. The binoculars are also amazing in bright light. You will not be disappointed for whatever use you can imagine for them.

[3.26 lb] While shopping for mid priced 15/56 binoculars, I narrowed the list down to four models: Zeiss Conquest HD, Nikon Monarch 5, Steiner HX, and Vortex Kaibab. I read all reviews and viewed all You-Tube videos I could find. Since I did not physically examine any of the binocular models, my decision to buy the Zeiss was subjective. I chose Zeiss because I already have the Zeiss 10/40 ABK's, which are excellent. I also have an array of Zeiss 35MM lenses which are all excellent. The Zeiss Conquest HD binoculars will not disappoint. I can see people in boats on S.F. Bay three miles away drinking beer. During twilight hours, I can see more clearly with the binoculars than with my telephoto lenses. Beautiful product.

[30 mm] Long story short - had Nikon Monarch ATB 10x56, they broke, sent to Nikon, they replaced with Monarch 7 10x42.  Missed my 10x56 so researched the he** out of it and these won.  Crisp clear bright image, and yes they are heavy, but very easy to hold balanced. (the Zeiss Comfort Carry harness is a must with this one, unlike other harnesses it uses elastic straps for shock absorption)  Dont get me wrong, the Nikons are nice glass but these are seriously next level, as they should be.  The eye cap/eye relief issue reported on the 10x42 is not an issue here at all.  I use them without glasses with the caps all the way out and they are perfect fit.  Just make sure the center cap at the adapter mount is tightened, or it will fall out.
