Harness a lifetime of the legendary optical craftsmanship, engineering, and mechanical precision with the ZEISS 3-18x50 Conquest V6 Riflescope. This fine telescopic sight is centered around an expertly designed 6x SuperZoom optical system that utilizes superior components such as high-transmission ZEISS FL fluoride lenses for delivering high-contrast, high-detail, and true-color vivid images. To enhance optical performance and image brightness even further, bringing total throughput to 92%, the lenses are fully multi-coated with ZEISS' proprietary T* anti-reflection coatings. To maintain this high standard of performance even in adverse weather conditions, the exterior lens surfaces are enhanced with LotuTec hydrophobic coatings, which let droplets slide without streaks and allow wiping off dust and dirt without traces.

Another highlight of this scope is the ZMOA-2 reticle, featuring the German #4 style outline and milling tactical crosshair with MOA-based spacings.

Measuring only 13.3" (33.4 cm) in length, the high-quality aluminum housing is engineered with strength, durability, precision in mind. It features a 30mm maintube and offers a waterproof, fogproof, and submersible performance. Among other highlights are BT finger-adjustable graduated turrets and knurled knobs and rings. The magnification ring also features a low-profile lever for instant zoom adjustments.

A: I've used these extensively for bird-watching over the last 18 months, and since I wear glasses, I have the eyecups all the way in. Provided that the distance apart of the eyecups match my eyes, no problem with blackout. I've never seen any chromatic aberration.

[2.95 lb] Overall this a very well designed scope. I was somewhat disappointed that it was made in Japan instead of in Germany. My only complaint with this scope is the windage, elevation and parallax turrets. The windage and elevation turrets lack an easily resettable zero feature. The turret cap must be removed in order to set your zero. The parallex turret lacks yardage markings. There are only rectangular shaped markings on the turret cap. When I contacted Zeiss about this their reply was Just change the setting on the parallax turret until the distortion goes away. IMO this is a very poor design for a riflescope that costs $1250.00. I want yardage indicators with numerical values that make the parallax easy to set. I also want easy reset to zero turrets. Set windage an elevation, lift the turret cap and reposition it to the zero indicator on the turret cap. Easy, except at Zeiss. The glass is exceptionally clear and the images are sharp. Other than the Parallax adjustment and windage and elevation turret adjustments, this is a very nice riflescope.
