Building on the success of the 20mm version, the larger-objective ZEISS 10x25 Victory Pocket Binoculars Compact Opticsfeature a wide field of view and long eye relief with a high magnification that brings subjects in close to provide users with an immersive observational experience.

This model maintains the optical technology of earlier iterations to ensure the overall visual performance users have come to expect from ZEISS. The optical path features phase-corrected Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms with dielectric mirror coatings. These prisms maximize acuity and light throughput while eliminating aberrations and distortion. The lenses are fully multi-coated with ZEISS' iconic T* anti-reflective multi-coatings and their LotuTec protective coating. T* multi-coatings increase light transmission while eliminating lens flare and glare, while improving color rendition, clarity, and contrast. The LotuTec coating helps maintain the integrity of each external lens surface by repelling liquids and debris for a clear view in any conditions, weather, or situation.

The Victory's housing is made of a lightweight and strong magnesium alloy and is wrapped in a protective rubber armor that provides a slip-resistant grip. The binoculars' optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to deliver waterproof performance, while resisting internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature or environmental conditions. The distinctive offset hinge design provides a visibly unique and compact form factor that is easy to adjust and use one-handed.

[16.5 mm] Lightweight, very nice optics, good ergonomics on the focus wheel. I like the single hinge - easy to rapidly adjust to my eyes. The only thing lacking IMO is the case that comes with these - too awkward to use. (A large, wide Lenscoat lens pouch works as a nice alternative.)

[10x] These are just gorgeous binoculars! The image is bright, and they feel good in the hand and are easy to adjust and focus. I was worried by a note in another review that the asymmetrical design might be less good for someone with small hands. My hands are on the small side for an adult woman, but I can reach the focus wheel with my right index finger, no problem.

[25 mm] The quality of these Bino's are fantastic, they simply far out perform others I have used in the past. Zeiss quality is unmatched in my option. Clarity of the glass is exceptional.

[10x] Bought these to be lightweight enough for when I go backpacking. I use them almost all the time at home too. Super lightweight, very crisp image, impressive amount of light given size, and very comfortable to grip

[10x] Started looking for compact binoculars after a trip to California last month that had me hiking around Point Lobos State Park and wishing I had magnification at every twist and turn. My main binocs are a great 30 y.o. pair of Leica 8x32 Trinovids that weigh about 26 ounces, and I had decided not to pack them this time.

When I got back I started the endless research loop, reading up on seemingly every popular alternative, from the Wirecutter's favorite $130 Pentax bins to the Zeiss Terra TLs Amazon was/is selling for $200 and up. I had almost settled on the Leica Trinovid 10x25s when B&H advisors suggested I stick with 8x, to keep the image steadier, and recommended these, the Zeiss Victory Pockets as the best available.

I still dithered, and ultimately ordered both these (from B&H) and Leica Ultravid 8x20s from another retailer. Tried them both for several days and it was, in the end, no contest. I wear glasses and I could not get the Leica's to work for me easily--I would eventually get both scopes showing an image and merge them into one, but it took a fiddling. And the Leicas were clearly less bright, and stiffer to focus. The Zeiss, by contrast, showed the benefit of a larger exit pupil, more eye relief, and a larger objective. They're dead easy to use, work for evening walks to our local duck pond, and are marginally easier to hold steadier than the admirably tiny and light Leicas. They cost a bomb and I still can't believe I actually ponied up that much cash, but I plan to leave them to my son so they'll amortize well, and in the meantime they are exactly what I wanted: good glass that I can have with me just about al the time.

Great service and prompt delivery.

[10x] Optically superb. I have the 8x25, wish the eye cups would come out about another mm (when all the way out), no big deal I automatically position my hands for perfect eye placement. I think Zeiss has done very well here with the firmness of the hinge, on older generations I feel they were weak here. The whole binocular seems very sturdy. Precision all they way around on this binocular. Cons: the binocular has a smell to them, its letting up some after 2 weeks now, hopefully the smell will continue to weaken.

[6° (Actual)] These Binoculars are an excellent piece of equipment, especially for the price. They are clear, bright, and exceptionally lightweight. I don't think you can find a better pair of lightweight binoculars anywhere. We purchased both these and the Zeiss 8x25 Terra ED Compact Binoculars. Both are wonderful, but the Victory Pocket Binoculars are a bit better.

[25 mm] Excellent optics, as would be expected. For me, the ultra light weight & very small size ( i.e. extreme portability) are it's best features. Not the greatest light-gatherer in low light conditions, but the small size & weight more than make up for that. A pleasure to hold, & you can keep them at eye level forever without getting tired!

[2.5 mm] These are lightweight binnoculars with great optics. The binnocular strap end was frayed when received binoculars but the strap is still functional.
