[2.1 lb / 0.9 kg] I can't say enough how much I love the Falcam quick release system. Every piece of gear I've purchased from them has streamlined my workflow to the point where I can't imagine working without it: imagine life before duct tape or Band-Aids sort of thing. I could have just gotten the less-expensive F38 base plate only, and then attached that to my Crane 2S camera plate -- but I purchased this quick release system plate for the peace of mind of having the four screws that hold the F38 base onto the system plate.
However, I do have to say I did have trouble with the A6700 camera cage fitting in sideways so that the lens would align with the long length of the plate. It would only easily fit at the 90 degree angle. I called B&H and they assured me the Falcam system is bi-directional. Still, I couldn't get my camera cage to budge in the correct direction no matter what. Then, after I got off the phone, I got a light-bulb idea, and I did what my dad would do: I put a spritz of WD40 on it. PRESTO!


B&H, you were right! My thanks to B&H for their patience. And if your Falcam plates are not sliding easily, a spritz of some sort of metal oil is all they need.

[20.2 x 6.4 x 2"] This is a great tool to use focus on my Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal. I ordered two more because the original one I've had for years started to struggle to connect with the microUSB port. I could have been more gentle with the microUSB connection and also it got plenty of use! If you do purchase this, I recommend updating the servo follow focus firmware on it, for AB point compatibility, and using the original Zhiyun USB cable when doing that update. (The cable that comes with the Crane 2). For some reason these older Zhiyun products don't like off brand cables. I'm not sure what's different about the Zhiyun cables but they work.

[2.1 lb / 0.9 kg] Totally in love with this gimbal. I use a panasonic G7 with the 14-42 and 25 1.7 lenses and both balance perfectly. The battery lifetime is just crazy, and the stabilization works pretty well. The inverted mode works fine too with this camera setup. The included tripod is really convenient and sturdy. The case is very good quality. I've tried the feiyu mg v2, and it's just nothing comparable. Zhiyun got definitely great products. Maybe one day I will upgrade to the Crane if I have heavier lenses. The only thing to consider seriously is to buy the zhiyun dual handle. For me it's a must to have. Add so much stability and control.

[20.2 x 6.4 x 2"] Amazing item. Excellent build quality, and very light weight. Your crane becomes instantly easier to use because you hold it with two hands. The weight is distributed to your two hands and it adds a lot more of control of your movements, improving the stability. You can add easily your monitor, light, microphone or whatever device you use. There are two 1/4 threads at the end of the bar and two others at the end of the handles. The only down side it's that the threads can be unscrewed from the handles and the bar, but it's a minor problem. There's no case coming with this product (except the box). I definitely recommend this product to everyone who owns a Zhiyun Crane / Crane-M.

[20.2 x 6.4 x 2"] If you're like me and want to balance for mainly one lens and then never adjust anything again, that's part of why I bought this. I shoot with a sigma 16-28 e mount so I'm able lock my gimble into the right settings, and then have the freedom to unmount the camera quickly and throw it onto a tripod or a gorilla pod. The Falcam mounts are sturdy and feel like it will last for a long time. I switched to a bunch of their quick release plates so now I'm able to switch between different tripods and fumbles with ease.

[20.2 x 6.4 x 2"] I was looking for a way to quickly take my bmpcc 6k from my crane 2s to my tripod without unscrewing any of the bottom plates, etc. this falcam setup works perfectly with the Zhiyun crane 2s and by purchasing an additional bottom plate, which mounts to my tripod plate, I can slide out of the cranes 2s and pop it right into the tripod with ease. No more attaching and I attaching anything! Beautifully made and super secure once you lock it in. Falcam seems top of the line and I have no problem recommending their products to anyone on any level!
