With a build volume of 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9", the XYZprinting da Vinci Jr. 1.0 3-in-1 3D Printerfrom XYZprinting da Vinci Jr. 1.0 3-in-1 3D Printerfeatures a layer resolution of 100-400 microns and is able to utilize 1.75mm PLA filaments via its auto-loading filament system. It is equipped with a 3D scanner, a single extruder nozzle, an enclosed and non-heated print bed, and a 2.6" LCD display. Users may print their compatible STL files or XYZ's proprietary 3W files via wired USB 2.0, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, or SDHC cards up to 32GB in size. Using the XYZgallery app for iOS and Android, users may also print using their mobile devices.

This 3D printer also comes bundled with XYZware, which allows users to design, customize, and print digital 3D models. It can also import STL files and create realistic simulated objects, as well as print out real products. Also bundled is XYZscan software, which is a 3D object scanner assistant that can conduct 3D scans, provide previews of files, and output files into a copy work via XYZware. Additionally, an optional laser engraver add-on allows designs to be etched on materials such as paper, cardboard, leather, wood, and plastic.

The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 3-in-1 3D Printer is hardware-compatible with 32- & 64-bit PCs running Windows 7 and above with at least 4GB of memory, as well as 64-bit Macs running OS X 10.8 and above with at least 4GB of memory. [Yes] The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 is a great bang for your buck with the decent build size of 6 x 6 x 6 inches and SD card compatibility. I printed out numerous projects so far and the print quality on this machine is fantastic. The only issues with printing is that it sometimes has trouble printing small details. However, this could be improved by changing the print settings in the XYZware, like making the extruder move at a slower rate, which decreases streaking. So, one of the most important features about this printer is its usability. Let me tell you right now, this machine will take you a while to set up properly. There isn't the three-knob calibration print bed that other 3D printers have,for this printer wants to be more approachable by maintaining a fixed, leveled print bed. The only thing you have to do is fix the Z Offset, which is the distance from the extruder nozzle to the print bed. This is the only calibration you have to do but it can be tricky getting it right the first few times. Unfortunately, not all of these printers were made the same, one printer could be printing excellent at .90mm offset, but mine functions the best around 1.65mm offset. This printer does 100 to 400 microns, and the infill and speed are all adjustable in the XYZware. I've printed out some quick decorations for my desk, but I've also spent a few hours printing out this model of the Statue of Liberty at excellent quality (100 microns) and slow speed at a 30% infill. The quality of the model was amazing. Overall, the 3D printer was hard, even frustrating at times to set up properly, but once it gets going it produces some of the best prints I've ever seen. 5

[1x USB-B 2.0] I use this gimbal when shooting wildlife and birds in flight. I have a D90 with a Nikon 70-200 2.8 mounted on it and it operates flawlessly. The rubber coated knows are easy to grip with gloves and it provides very smooth panning and tilting. Durable construction. I have also used a Wimberly gimbal and see no reason to spend the extra money. 5

[Enclosed] Love this tripod head! I use this for my Nikon D810 with the Nikon 200-400mm VR F4 lens (and sometimes the Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E III). With some small adjustments I was able to balance the camera with lens so it can float while not locked down. This is perfect if you're trying to capture some raptors in flight or swooping down to grab a fish. Same time the tripod head can lock in place with no unwanted tilting, which is great when the large birds of pray are perched on a tree limb. 5

[0.4 mm] this a gift for a 13 year old boy. In one word he absolutely loves it. I offered some help with the initial setup and the first head cleaning. After a few hiccups with the first setup mostly due to the boy's impatience on following procedures, it has been smooth sailing. The material prints smoothly, if slowly and hardly ever jams. Cleaning the head is relatively easy. He loves designing stuff in Fusion 3D and then printing out his ideas. 5
