[4 lb / 1.8 kg] I purchased this mount to suspend web cameras from our office ceiling tiles for collaborative physical whiteboard sessions. The product is high quality, stable and easy to use. I highly recommend them.

[4 lb / 1.8 kg] The Gabor UPMP-1000 is a great addition to my basement/theater.

The hardest thing about installing this was figuring out where I wanted to put it. The actual install was straight forward and only took me about an hour (could have been done in less time but I kept changing the location). Everything inside the box is labeled well which made it easy to follow. Once it's up and during install it's pretty easy to make micro adjustments to get it in the exact position you want it in.

Based on the way the mount is set up I think this would work with a ton of projectors. I have a much smaller one and I think this would work fine with it.

One thing I really like about this projector is that it has a quick release mechanism. This summer I have been taking my projector outside quite a bit and the ability to quickly and easily pop it off is great.

Overall I'm really pleased with this mount and may need to get another one for my smaller projector.

[11.5 x 6 x 1"] Looking at the cost initially for this I was a little concerned. This was quite costly for such a small piece. When I received it I then knew why. This was very well build and sturdy. I am very pleased. I guess the saying holds true you get what you paid for.

[11.5 x 6 x 1"] This was easy to install to the drop ceiling to mount a webcam in a classroom.

[0.45 lb] I replaced an old ceiling mount that was hard to adjust and never would quite line up the projector to the screen correctly. The Gabor solidly connects to the ceiling stud, and the other half which attaches to the projector the projector slides in and out of the ceiling mount with ease. The two thumb dials adjust the projector to the exact position needed quickly and easily. It is compact and close to the ceiling, important for our low basement ceiling. I hesitated because I didn't see many reviews, which is why I am writing this review--the smart design of the Gabor makes me regret putting up with the old mount for way too long.

[0.45 lb] We modified this mount a little bit by adding a m-7 thread adapter to it to hang a microphone from the ceiling in our conference room. This attachment works great! It does what we need it to. Very solid construction.
