The Kowa PROMINAR MFT 25mm Lens, in silver, is a standard focal length manual focus lens for the Micro Four Thirds sensor format. A: The M. Zuiko 25mm f/1.8 lens is an excellent optic - I have one and am very pleased. It will work just fine on the GH3, with the exception that there will be no image stabilization, since Olympus has IS in the body and the GH3 does not. Hope this helps. Al

Q: 3. Hi, i read on some website that this lens might not fit an om-d e-m10 mark ii , can you please confirm ?

A: This lens WILL fit on a EM10 mark II but it does not fit on the mark III due to a slightly different design. The mount of the lens hits the front of the camera just above the flange on the camera and does not allow it to seat and mount.

Q: 4. I have the Fuji X-T100 and I just received this lens and it will not take a picture. I've re-formatted the card, turned the camera on and off..... The f-stop ring works, but that's it. Has anyone had this same issue, and has a work around?

A: It is an all manual lens so make sure you have the aperture, shutter and ISO all working together to make a correct exposure. If you still have an issue, please call or email us telling us about how it is not taking a picture.

A: The version of this lens which is B&H#7A25F18BKM43 is indeed for all micro four thirds mount cameras such as the BMPCC 4K. Please note that I'm referring to the version that ends in "M43" as in this case that means micro four thirds.

A: The Kowa PROMINAR MFT 8.5mm f/2.8 Lens (Black) is made to cover Micro Four Thirds sensors which have a image diagonal 21.64mm. By all reports it does so. The Blackmagic Design Pocket camera has a Super 16 sensor. It has a image diagonal of 14.33mm. Therefore this lens will easily cover this smaller sensor. It should be a superb lens for video.

[MFT] I bought this 25mm to capture sweet, sharp images with drone video. Great focal length, excellent depth, well made, not too heavy, balances well on the gimbal, and delivers great performance. Very fast AF is a plus. It's right at home on my Oly OM-D E-M5 Mark III when it's not flying on the drone. I'm very happy with it and would recommend to anyone looking for a value-priced lens at 25mm f/1.8 5

[25mm] This lens is a gem for landscapes & getting those shots with terrific bokeh. I enjoyed the results I got from shooting a rock band playing outside at night. Really nice lens, clear results, worth the price. 5

[1:6.5] I was not expecting a great deal from such an inexpensive lens, but I was pleasantly surprised. Autofocus is quick and accurate, sharpness is good and bokeh is nice when used wide open. Coupled with an Olympus EM5 MK III, colors are accurate and rich. I have had the Panasonic Leica 25mm and this is just as good. 5

[T1.9 f/1.8] I've been shooting film projects on the GH4 and the GH5 for a while now. I love wide angle, so it's been challenging to find the best lens until I found this one. This lens offers full control over focus and aperture. The addition of a clickless aperture is especially excellent. The 12mm focal length (equal to about 24mm on a full frame), gets me the most out of my images. Especially when composing for the 2:35 aspect ratio. This lens is a must-have for Micro 4/3 video shooters, especially cinematographers. Highly recommended. 5
