This Computar 1.1" 50mm f/2.8 12MP Ultra Low Distortion Lens is designed for cameras with a C-Mount for use in a variety of applications. It has a fixed focal length of 50mm, and resolves an image on 1.1" cameras with 12MP sensors. Featuring a minimum working distance of just under 20", the lens focuses to infinity and incorporates both lockable iris and focus rings, so you can leave the lens set up and not have to worry about either ring changing over time. The front of the lens incorporates an M34.0 filter thread.

A: There are C-Mount to MFT Adapters available, such as BH #FOCMAMFT. However this lens does not cover an MFT sized sensor. In general this would not be recommend for use on those cameras.

A: The Sony FE 50mm f/2.8 Macro Lens has an AF/ MF switch. Set the switch to MF for manual focus.

A: No, this is made for Micro Four Thirds and there is no adapter to convert MFT to EF-M mount.

A: It does not look as though the Sony FE 50mm f/2.8 Macro Lens comes with a lens case. You could use it for a portrait lens as well as a macro lens, yes. Though, if you are shooting full frame, Id likely look at something a bit more telephoto, but a 50mm lens is still useable for portraits.

Q: 10. how do I adjust the settings to increase the depth of focus?

A: I usually use this lens as a macro lens attached to two macro extensions. Shooting in manual mode I adjust the f stop - the higher the number the more field of depth becomes. Be careful of your shutter speed and the amount of light you have.

[50mm] This lens makes great images! It's a bit heavy, but very sturdy. The manual focus means the photographer has to do a little more work to get a desired image- there's a learning curve if you've gotten used to auto focus, but it's fun to experiment, and having control over what's sharp and what's not, without the constant readjusting of an auto focus lens, is a real pleasure. Very nice lens, plus a filter and a padded storage bag. 5

[0.285 lb] Had a canon 24-70F4 with a macro feature that was allright, but I prefer this one, gets in much closer for flower photography and bugs. It's got a nice all metal feel to it, and it came with a filter on the front as well. Don't let the fact that this is chinese made deter you from considering this lens! 5

[3.4 x 2.05 x 2"] I checked videos online about tests done with this filter to see which Ultra contrast filter level I was going to buy. I decided to go with UC 2, and now that I have it in my hand and could perform tests on my own, I must say it is pretty strong. the UC 1 is just enough. Another thing you must take into account is that the exposition can not be trusted from the camera. With this filter you have to use a light meter all the time. Because the camera reading is at least 1 1/2 stop under the real exposition. Other than that is a great tool when you are shooting video, and don't want those black without information, and you want to avoid overexposed highlights 5

[50mm] Trigicon really has their system figured out. This mount is perfect with their RMR on my Mossberg 500. It is so simple I didn't even need instructions. Would buy again. [3.4 x 2.05 x 2"] If you bought the smallrig cage for the Canon 90D, the NATO rail that's offered as an added option is really not the best one for top handle use. To center the top handle and maybe even add another bit of gear to the rail, this model definitely offers the most flexibility of use. 5

[0.285 lb] I love this lens. It really gives crisp, sharp pics. I am not used to a manual focus lens so that took a minute. But once I watched a few videos and figured out the auto focus, I fell in love! I highly recommend this lens to anyone who shoots macro! It is affordable, great build quality with stunning results! I have only been using a camera (other than my iphone) for about three months. I watched some reviews on this lens, and it doesn't disappoint. Just buy it! You won't regret it. 5

[0.285 lb] This lens is the 'gold-standard' for a true macro lens that reaches a real 1:1 ratio and goes one step beyond that, plus can take close up portraits as well. Optical quality is simply stunning. 5
