The ALZO Wall Camera Mount Ball Headallows you to securely mount a camera or camcorder weighing up to six pounds on a wall. It features a 5/8" Baby pin arm with a mini ball head that enables easy angle adjustment of your camera. The durable metal mount is designed for installation on a flush wall with four screws or other captive wall fasteners. The ball head camera mount can be removed via a convenient thumbscrew when you need to service your camera.

A: Unfortunately, the 8" arm of the ALZO 1236 is not adjustable, but you will have access to alternate the ball head position.

Q: 4. What is the spacing between holes on the flange? (length of the side of the square made by the four holes center to center)

A: The measured distance between each mounting hole is 17.68mm.

Q: 5. Can the top ball head section be separated from the base section?

A: Yes. The ball head of the CAMVATE 1/4"-20 Mini Ball Head Wall/Ceiling Mount for Surveillance Camera. By loosening the 2.45mm allen screw you can remove the ball head mount from the base.

Q: 6. Is this a typical light stand mount? Like, could I used this to mount some video lights to some exposed ceiling joists?

A: The ALZO Wall-Mounted Camera Support with Ball Head has a 1/4"-20 mount which many lights are able to mount on to. ALZO Digital lists the maximum load capacity as 6 lb but recommends using this setup with a payload up to 2 lb, so the light that is mounted would be recommended to be under this weight.

Q: 7. Is the ball mount removable? Looking for something like this, but would want to replace the stock ball mount with one that uses a quick release plate.

A: The included ball head is removable.

Q: 8. Would this work with the PTZOptics PT20X-ZCAM?

A: Yes it is possible, however, we do not recommend it. This product is not designed for use with PTZ cameras.

Q: 9. Does the arm move from the plate. I would need to move the arm flat against the plate, then have the camera form an L with arm?

A: Unfortunately no. The ALZO Wall Camera Mount with Ball Head will include a static 8" arm.

Q: 10. Is the mount a strong aluminum alloy closer to steal or softer where mounts have poor quality problems? E.g. breaking parts.

A: Yes. The CAMVATE 1/4"-20 Mini Ball Head Wall/Ceiling Mount (White) is constructed of a strong aluminum alloy.

[1.64 lb] This wall mount is actually really useful. I use it to suspend a Canon DSLR with a heavy 24-70 lens from the ceiling of my woodshop where I make YouTube videos. Its very sturdy, I dont worry about $3k of camera coming crashing down on me at all. Id like to get another one to set up another angle, too. 5

[1.64 lb] this mount works perfectly as a base for my Sunpak 12 Bicolor LED Ring Light kit to be affixed to a shelf on my desk. I also can see other uses for it as well later. It provides great stability and flexibility for an excellent value. 5
