$5,107.50 $6,690.82

Featuring two independent charge bays, the Core SWX HyperCore 150 2-Battery Kit with Fleet Chargeris capable of simultaneously charging two batteries at 3A each. This means that two 98Wh batteries can be charged in approximately 2 hours. The on-board LCD display screen allows you to easily monitor your battery's smart battery data without needing to connect to a computer. The micro-USB connector allows for firmware updates and for connection to a PC.

The built-in Battery Management Test mode allows the charger to determine battery health and recharge performance. Activating the SafeFly mode forces the charger to discharge or charge connected batteries to a 30% charge level to meet air travel and shipping requirements. While plugged into an AC power source the Fleet Micro 3A Dual Charger can either charge batteries or be used as a camera power supply via the built-in 4-pin XLR. In the absence of AC power, you can use the charger to feed the 4-pin XLR from connected batteries providing unregulated power. The housing is made of aluminum, providing for a robust build.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this battery legally travel airborne?

A: You will want to check with your airline directly as restrictions on batteries frequently change. At this time you can travel with batteries that are above 100 Wh, you may just need to first get approval from the airline.

Q: 2. Why can't this battery be shipped to Australia? It meets the airline safety rules?

A: At this time we do not have a carrier available who is able to ship this battery to Australia. There have been some recent changes in the rules for shipping Lithium Ion batteries. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to contact us directly at provideo@a href= http://bhphoto.com target= _blank bhphoto.com/a with any further questions you may have.

Q: 3. Does it communicate battery info to a Red camera?

A: Manufacturer states that it will communicate battery info when using advanced d-tap output.

Q: 4. Anyone flown with these batteries?

A: Lithium batteries with more than 100 watt hours may be allowed in carry-on bags with airline approval. One spare battery, not exceeding 300 watt hours, or two spare batteries, not exceeding 160 watt hours each, are permitted in carry-on bags. For more information, see the FAA regulations on batteries.

Q: 5. Are these airline safe?

A: While you will want to check with your airline directly for what they will allow regarding Lithium Batteries, at 98Wh these batteries should be allowed for Airline Travel.

Q: 6. How do you charge this?

A: We have chargers from Core SWX that will work. 2-Bay Gold Mount Charger - https://bhpho.to/30IkrYJ D-Tap Wall Charger - https://bhpho.to/30J4p0U

Q: 7. Can you charge this battery with the PB-70C charger?

A: No, you cannot charge any CORE SWX Prime batteries with the PB-70C charger. The Prime is a two part battery and this charger cannot charge the second half. If you were to attempt to do so, the battery would no longer work and would need to be sent back to CORE SWX to be flashed and repaired.

Q: 8. Is this battery really air-travel friendly, UN tested for air travel, even though it's above the TSA 98Wh limit?

A: Switronix is scrupulous in it's attention as to the suitability of their batteries for air travel. However, there is an error on the B&H site. The UN tested and certified for air travel is for only the 98 version. I shall alert the B&H Webteam as to the error. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused.

Q: 9. Does the battery capacity degrade twice as fast because there are two batteries?

A: The battery will not degrade twice as fast. The system is designed so you can split apart the batteries for air travel, the two separate units will not go above the maximum Watt Hours allowed for a Lithium Ion Battery when split.

Q: 10. 2 questions: 1) is the 3A charge current for each channel? 2) does this prioritize charge or 3A per channel constant?

A: The Core SWX Fleet D Gold Mount 2-Bay Charger (B&H# COFLEETD2A) supplies each battery a regulated 3A of charge current regardless of the number of batteries present. If two 98Wh batteries are installed, for example, then you can therefore expect a charge time of approximately 2.5 hours, although that does vary according to temperature and variances in battery chemistry.

[4.69 lb] I've always owned Anton Bauers, but was surprised by the performance and build quality of these HyperCore 150s. They're on every set I'm on now, and I'm able to rent them out for the same price as my ABs. LED screen is working great for me - no issues there. The 2x HyperCore and dual charger was a no-brainer for the price. I also enjoy having the storage mode on these when they're not playing on a job.

[2] I shoot network television so I need equipment that is not going to fail on me.

I've found the 150's battery life to outlast my Anton Bauer, IDX, and Sony batteries.

I use them mostly on my Nanlite Forza 300 HMI's and get over an hour of battery life on the light before I need to switch batteries.

A powerful feature is the LED display telling you how much time is left on the battery. It changes depending on the device you have it attached to.

If I have the batteries on my HMI it may say around an hour. If I switch it to my Sony F5 it changes to 4 hours, and if you hook up an iPhone to the USB charging port you will get about 12 hours. It also counts down the minutes.

You really can't beat that feature especially when you are doing a live shot or doing an interview that you don't want interrupted by a battery exchange.

[4.69 lb] These batteries are the perfect size for RED DSMC-2 cameras. They are incredibly compact and work with any top handle.

I was pleasantly surprised that these batteries were significantly smaller than the previous generation or HyperCore batteries.

[4.69 lb] Bought 4 of these. One display wouldn’t turn on so I called CoreSWX and they told me how to reset and it worked. Haven’t had another issue since. The batteries hold a decent charge on an URSA Mini Pro as well as a power hungry Alexa Classic, and they recycle within good time on charge. I am happy so far, and considering 2 more...

[4.69 lb] This battery is much smaller, lighter, and more efficient than the previous model. It is even more compact and light than it appears online, and it fits the DSMC2 profile perfectly. My one complaint is that the display on the back can not be shut off manually.

[2] I've had these for about a month and used them on a few jobs with no issues at all. This 150 takes about 5-6 hours to charge fully and lasts about 3-4 hours on my Ursa Mini Pro powering camera, 702 monitor and follow focus system.
