The black Match Technical Opera-O Soft Shutter Release Button Black Short Stemfrom Match Technical Opera-O Soft Shutter Release Button Black Short Stemgives you the ability to find a recessed shutter button on the camera while not looking away from the viewfinder. Camera shake is also minimized, which enables you to take a picture at slower shutter speeds without the worry of camera blur.

The button's short stem is compatible only with Leica's M Typ 240, M-E, and Monochrom cameras as well as the Fuji X-Pro2. Because of the short threads inside the shutter button, the short stem on the button does not strip when it is screwed in. Therefore, the release button's convex profile raises the height of the camera's shutter button making it easy-to-find.

Once the Soft Shutter Release Button is screwed in, the button's CNC machined brass threads, which are not easily broken off, does not bind to the shutter button. An O-ring under the enamel head of the button keeps the button completely secure to the camera when it is tightened down. In addition, the enamel button has been painted with a black menacing face theme in a high-quality gloss paint.

[1.21 x 1.2 x 1"] I have a Fujifilm x100v and this little soft shutter release button is strictly to operate the camera. It screws into the shutter release button gives more control in releasing the shutter. That's probably a good enough reason to get this small device. But it does more than that. It give a large measure of joy when I pick up the camera a look at it. It's very well made and the colored picture on the button is just charming. I've had these with other decorations with cameras and enjoyed them very much. They work well and you if you do want to use a cabled remote shutter release you simply unscrew this black button and use the cable. I don't take those kinds of shots so I've never tried it. Just know that Match Technical does a great job with these slow release buttons. They are fun and functional. What's better than that.

[0.05 lb] This little add-on makes such a difference in ergonomics. When recording yourself on video, it's so easy to hit the target to get things started. But I'd have to say the biggest difference is the feedback when taking photos. It's much easier to gauge the half-press for the focus on my Fujifilm X-T4. It's much easier to hit the focus on the half press, frame the shot, then full press for grabbing the photo.

The o-ring helps keep things tight. I haven't had it loosen at all yet after 2 weeks...but admittedly, I shoot mostly in studio and do give it a check whenever I start shooting just because some other reviews made me paranoid about it. Haven't had it loosen at all yet. Maybe the other people just didn't tighten it enough.

[Black] The quality is good, no issues with it loosening. I think it gives a smidgen better control over the shutter release. Its a novelty item but it can get my grandkids to look at the ladybug which helps!

[1.21 x 1.2 x 1"] Works as described and is an essential upgrade. No more fidgeting around to get to the too-small shutter-button. Offers a better touch and shooting is more steady. Looks good, too.

[1.21 x 1.2 x 1"] I ordered two:
The long stemmed version fits perfectly on my old Yashica FX-3 Super, and I suspect it will on other older film cameras.
The short version would not engage the threaded shutter release sufficiently to stay attached!
These soft releases really do enable a much gentler, less camera shake inducing release of the shutter. Pressing them with the first joint of the index finger and not the finger tip works best.
I filed off the short stem of my second one and attached it with double sided tape and a wee bit of crazy glue to my Sigma SD 15...did the same for my Sony RX100.
Amazing the difference these " bugs " make!

[1.21 x 1.2 x 1"] This is an attractive soft button that has started a lot of conversations. I gave it 5 stars because it helps me easily find my shutter button. I lost my first one because it can come unscrewed when using the under-button on-off switch. If you have large fingers like I have, your finger may hit the side of the button when turning your camera on and off. Over time it will come unscrewed and fall off. Good luck finding it if it falls in the grass. So I bought the red one to make it easier to find. I also bought the long stem one to get more threads between the button and my fat fingers. Remember to check it often!
