[0.005 lb] Leaving a review to let people know that this hot shoe works perfectly on a M6 - was weary on picking it up since there were some mixed reviews here!

[0.005 lb] I've had thumbs up for other bodies in the past and enjoy how it adds to the natural ergonomic grip. The price seems a bit high for what it is, but it is a very well-built and constructed bit of metal. If the added thumb purchase prevents a drop to pavement then it's a bargain! My only real complaint is the need to carry the Allen wrench when I wish to remove for flash use on the hot shoe. I'm certain I'll inevitably forget it or have in another bag when I need it.

[0.005 lb] Face it: Leica 12524 and 12526 lens hood caps were virtually worthless. Brush against anything---a hand, an arm, clothing, whatever---and they would pop right off (and if you didn't happen to notice, they would be gone, lost). The Match Technical lens fits perfectly, attaches firmly, and stays on. I don't know why Leica cannot properly engineer lens caps and lens hood caps, but Match Technical has solved the problem...at least for this pair of hoods.

[ABS plastic] This eye cup seems pricey but after receiving and screwing it on it definitely helps my eye blocks unnecessary light especially on a bright day and gives me a more accurate focus lock.

[0.005 lb] M10 with loose hotshoe cover, got lost. This replacement fit fairly snug snd stays in place without tape.

[0.005 lb] I bought this for my Leica M10R. It works nicely, even if it does restrict my view of wider framelines a bit (not a real issue for me). I do feel it provides a better interface for my glasses, reducing the likelihood of scratching. Nice stuff.

[0.005 lb] This thumb's up grip for the Leica SL2 is a wonderful piece of machined metal! It is a joy to shoot with the SL2, this addition makes it that much better shooting for long periods of time! It is a natural fit for your thumb to rest on, giving you more control in both the landscape and portrait position! Love it!

[ABS plastic] I was constantly knocking my exposure off because I was touching the rear thumb wheel inadvertently. This thumb rest solved the problem. And also gave me a better grip on the camera. If like me you like to have the exposure compensation on the rear thumb wheel it might be a good add-on to think of

[0.005 lb] The EP-SL2 enables a better grip on my SL2-S.

While I'm able to seamlessly access/manipulate the joystick, I do have to lift my thumb over the Thumbs Up to access/manipulate the rear dial. It's not a big deal for me but it's worth noting, considering this is a review.

There's a rubber bad behind the Thumbs Up, which prevents any scratches to the camera body; and the part connected to the hotshoe doesn't scratch the hotshoe at all either.

While I recommend this item, I wouldn't pay full-price for it.
