This black, compact Pro Series Omnidirectional Earset Mic for Electro-Voice Transmittersdelivers clear spoken-word and vocal reproduction for presenters and performers working in music, theatrical, broadcast, house of worship, lecture, and presentation settings. It comes with a TA4F connector that plugs into select Electro-Voice bodypack transmitters.

The MM-PSM Pro Series earset features a 3mm capsule mounted on a short 3.4' boom that can be discreetly positioned away from the mouth for an unobtrusive fit. The earset can be worn on either the left or right ear and feels natural when used for extended periods of time. The extremely flexible boom is virtually unbreakable.

The capsule delivers full-frequency (20 Hz to 20 kHz) audio performance and high gain before feedback for detailed speech intelligibility. The 145 dB of dynamic range makes this mic well suited for loud vocal performances in houses of worship and on the musical stage. The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern offers enhanced plosive protection with no proximity effect for a natural sound.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Unsure about which cable to purchase as microphone will be plugged into Azden FMX-DSLR mixer. Do I need the Kopul or the Hosa?

A: The Electro-Voice RE50 will connect to the XLR mic inputs on the Azden FMX-DSLR. The Kopul 4000 series cable is an XLR mic cable that will allow you to connect the two together. a href= http://bhpho.to/1wXUMX2 target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1wXUMX2/a

Q: 4. I already have a Tascam DR-10L Pro. Is there an adaptor that will allow me to use this (or another ENG mic) without a new rec?

A: An adapter cable such as BH #RECASEK100M could technically be used to connect a dynamic ENG mic to the Tascam DR-10L, but this would not be recommended. Dynamic microphones will need more gain than the DR-10L is designed to provide, and results may not be as desired.

Q: 5. Would this work with the Senal UEM-155 with TA4F?

A: Electro-Voice has stated that the TXA - TA4-Male to XLR-Male Adapter will not function with other brands of microphones.

[Black] This mic's are the best ever. They are small enough that they do not interfere with clothing. Thank you for your quick response to our needs.

[Plug-In Power] I'm sure this mic smokes! Never got a chance to use it because it was returned the same day within minutes of opening the box. It doesn't stay attached to the Sennheiser SKP 100 G4-A1
It wobbles when attached. Not cool! This should be noted on BH website but what do I know anyway. The shaft is bone thin so be aware that if your interviewer has large hands it may slip out and crash with or without a transmitter. I'm sure attaching a few washers between the SKP and mic might have worked but who needs the fiddling when news is happening. Still love you guys at BH!
