This beige, compact Shure Wireless Transmitters Omnidirectional Earset Mic MM-PSM Prodelivers clear spoken-word and vocal reproduction for presenters and performers working in music, theatrical, broadcast, house of worship, lecture, and presentation settings. It comes with a TA4F connector that plugs into select Shure bodypack transmitters.

The MM-PSM Pro Series earset features a 3mm capsule mounted on a short 3.4' boom that can be discreetly positioned away from the mouth for an unobtrusive fit. The earset can be worn on either the left or right ear and feels natural when used for extended periods of time. The extremely flexible boom is virtually unbreakable.

The capsule delivers full-frequency (20 Hz to 20 kHz) audio performance and high gain before feedback for detailed speech intelligibility. The 145 dB of dynamic range makes this mic well suited for loud vocal performances in houses of worship and on the musical stage. The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern offers enhanced plosive protection with no proximity effect for a natural sound.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does this come with ta4f or ta3f connector?

A: The Polsen ESM-2-TA4F Dual-Sided Earset Microphone for Shure Transmitters has a TA4F connector.

Q: 2. We have the Shure MX153 earset. It needs to be replaced. Will this this work ?

A: Yes, the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone for Shure Wireless Transmitters (Beige, TA4F) would be capable of replacing the Shure MX153 Earset Headworn Microphone to work with Shure transmitters with onboard TA4 connections. Both mics are omni pickup pattern, but the Pyle is a dual ear headset mount as opposed to the MX153's single ear configuration.

Q: 3. Does this microphone fits the PDWM4400 transmitter? One of the headset microphone comes with the PDWM4400 did not work. If it does not work, can you suggest one similar to this headworn microphone for PDWM4400 transmitter?

A: Yes the Pyle Pro PMHM2 will work with the Pyle Pro PDWM 4400.

Q: 4. Is this for all shure TA4F shure models? Thank you

A: Yes, this will work with all Shure transmitters that have a TA4 connector.

Q: 5. Hi, I m wondering if this mic compitible and can be used for Audio Technica Pro 10 wireless system? thanks

A: This microphone has a Shure TA4F connector which is very common and popular. AT body pack uses the HIROSE HR10A-7P-4S connector. So if you want to use this Pyle Pro mic with the AT 10 PRO bodypack you will need an adapter converter cable. The only company that I know that sells such a cable is in England called micronic. The adapter cable is expensive. Alternatively, I have been told AT will install the HIROSE connector to any microphone you send them for $30 per microphone. I think purchasing an adapter cable is the best solution. But I have not tried this idea and so I can not guarantee this will work. I hope this helps

Q: 6. Does it work with Shure BLX1 Bodypack?

A: Hi, Thank you for reaching out. It depend on the plug that you have in your receiver.

Q: 7. Hi I have ev body pack bp300 can I use this mic with my system it has 4 pin connector ta4 but m not sure ta4 and mini xlr is same or not

A: Shure TA4 is a 4 pin connector similar to the EV connector, however Shure and EV wiring is not the same and not interchangeable unfortunately. This mic will not work with the BP300.

Q: 8. Do these work with Sennheiser belt packs?

A: No, the Pyle Pro PMHM2 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone has a non-locking 3.5mm connector for wireless transmitters like the RODE Wireless GO II or DJI Mic. As a compatible option for Sennheiser wireless transmitters, you can use the Polsen ESM-2-35H Dual-Sided Earset Microphone (B&H # POESM235H), which is close in price and has the locking 3.5mm TRS connector.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with a Sony D21 wireless mic system?

A: No it is not. This headset is wired for compatibility with Sennheiser transmitters. Use this version for SONY transmitters: Polsen ESM-2-MN Dual-Sided Earset Microphone for Recorders and Wireless Transmitters BH #POESM2MN: https://bhpho.to/3ebmefn

Q: 10. is this compatible with Mipro Act-7ta?

A: Although we are unable to test to fully confirm, the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone for Shure Wireless Transmitters uses the appropriate TA4F connection for use with the MiPro ACT-7Ta Wideband UHF Bodypack Transmitter and has a good chance of compatibility with this wireless system.

[Beige] First Sunday with new pastor on regular clip to collar microphone, people had hard time hearing him. Next Sunday with Headworn microphone and he was loud and clear. These mics are great.

[Plug-In Power] I've been using these headsets for a few years now, and continue to buy more. They're perfect for children' programs/ plays and outdoor events. They only take minimal EQ'ing to get to sound good, not as good as the Countryman E6's that I also have, but close enough. Compared to Countryman, for the price, you can't complain about build quality.

[Omnidirectional] This mic was purchased for use in a regular worship setting. The pastor has a high-end Countryman mic of a similar style, but worship assistants were using lav mics clipped to their robes. Performance was inconsistent with the lav mics, but we didn't want to spend the extra money on additional Countryman mics unless we had to. This mic is performing as well as the Countryman. Sound is crisp and clear (spoken word and some singing), the mic is comfortable to wear, and it was fully compatible with our Shure beltpacks. We haven't had the mic long enough to assess durability, and I'm a little concerned that because everything is permanently connected together (you can replace components--you have to replace the whole unit). But, at the price point, that really isn't that big an issue.

[7 x 5 x 0.9"] First use indicates that it works well. A little longer than CountryMan

[Beige] If you are looking for an alternative to lapel mics for your Shure transmitter, these solved our problem of audio cutting out when speakers turned their heads away from the mic. Price can't be beat.

[Plug-In Power] We ordered the head set to replace a lavelier mic. We had a lot of problems with ringing and feedback. The headset eliminated these problems and is much much easier to control.

[Plug-In Power] I was a little skeptical for the price, but thought I'd give it a try. Could not be happier with the performance, can't go wrong for the price!

[Omnidirectional] We have used these for the last 3-4 years and have been very well pleased. They may be less durable but at a fraction of the cost of the expensive Shure microphones they are a tremendous value

[7 x 5 x 0.9"] I was super unsure about this mic at this process range. But I was surprised with the clarity performance. I am using them in a play and are working great.

[Omnidirectional] Rent a 12-16 channel wireless system to a few middle and high schools every year. Typically, we run the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 headsets, but due to backorder ordered several sets of PMEMS10 this year. These work great for school plays/musicals with proper EQ and compression. The only con is the earsets do not seem to fit children with smaller heads/faces well and took some tape to hold them in a proper location. Overall, this is a great product for schools at a great price. Time will tell if these hold up as well as the PHMS20's.
