Amplify your music at FOH performances with the Turbosound TBV118L-AN 18" 3000W Powered Subwoofer. This active subwoofer is designed to deliver 3000W power featuring KLARK TEKNIK Class-D technology. It features an 18" LF driver and uses ULTRANET digital audio networking to connect to compatible mixers and other sources. Designed to work individually without a controller, this subwoofer can be used for applications in a wide range of venues including nightclubs, concert halls, houses of worship, and more.

On the rear panel of the amplifier module, you'll find the interface's LCD display and single rotary encoder that provide intuitive access to: position compensation, user EQ control, subwoofer integration, and signal routing features. In addition to the balanced XLR input, an XLR output is provided for daisy chaining more active subwoofers or for use with active loudspeakers.

Finished in a highly durable semi-matt black paint, the cabinet is constructed from 3/4" plywood with a rugged powder-coated, perforated steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam, a M20 threaded pole mount to support satellite speakers, and durable handles for easy transport. The TBV118L-AN includes integral suspension hardware for efficient array configuration and aiming, plus multiple internal M10 mount points that allow eyebolt suspension in any orientation. Finally, Neutrik powerCON connectors are employed for straightforward integration with typical power configurations.

A: I do not see reviews on this either- Wagan does offer another unit that you may want to consider, at $325: WA3742

A: Mounting and Rigging:The cabinet is fitted with M10 x 8 internally-threaded rigging points that allow it to be rigged with optional shoulder eyebolts and mountedin many different configurations in permanent installations. The simplest method of rigging is to use the two M10 rigging points on the top.Cabinets may also be hung upside down if required.The cabinet has an integral 35 mm pole mount socket in the bottom panel, that allows it to be pole mounted.The optional NuQ122-FY fly yoke adds further installation flexibility for scaffold, surface, and pole mounting.

A: Unfortunately there are no casters for the JBL VRX918SP. Everything to transport it is sold as one piece. We have it at B&H the part number is B&H # JBVRX918SSTR.

A: The M20 thread on the QSC KS118 is a thread size that is commonly found on subwoofer poles like the On-Stage Subwoofer Pole with M20 Thread (Black) (B&H # ONSS7746).

Q: 5. Will this woofer be a good match with the HR824 mkii monitor speaker?

A: The Mackie SR18S 18" 1600W Professional Powered Subwoofer could be too powerful for the HR824 Studio Monitors to compete with. Perhaps the Electro-Voice ELX118P 18" Live X Powered Subwoofer (B&H # ELELX118P) might be a better match.

[Peak Limiter] Purchased a pair of these with all custom bags. Replacing my 'standard' sound system of Mackie SWA 18"+ SRM 12" 2-way system. Absolutely loved using them and happy i upgraded. Operation: I clocked myself at 46 seconds to disassemble the entire column and put all components in the cases/bags including sub. I can carry the sub though its not very mobile friendly without dolly. Erects in similar amount of time and much easier on the eyes. Audio: Compared them with Bose, EV, RCF, and Fender. Out of the group the RCF was the best sounding overall. The Turbosounds sounded better than the rest but the dual 12" sub did outperform the single sub on the RCF 12, at least for me. Aesthetically it was nicer than the RCF but the EV evolve looked the nicest and was the easiest to transport. Would highly recommend. Happy to have joined the Turbosound family. 5

[Neodymium] This is my first PA subwoofer so I don't have much to realistically compare it to but I'm happy for my purposes! My use: With 2 mackie thump go's through a mixer for karaoke, backyard parties, garage band, general small portable DJ setup. I bought used and saved some money on an already good price. At first I was disappointed with the power and sound when I hooked it to my mixer via the headphone out for volume control. It turns out my cable was bad or sent a weak signal for the sub. I replaced the Cable (1/4 TRS to split balanced XLR) and now that the signal is strong and clean and the sub actually sounds GOOD and musical - so a clean strong signal will do wonders with this subwoofer and I think a little break-in period helped it loosen up and improve SQ. Also properly setting the gain staging will help maximize output. The smaller weight and size of the sub are a big factor for me; it's not that hard to move compared to the majority of other 18's. If you're looking for a monster teeth rattling single sub with power for a live band in a larger venue this might not be the sub for you but it does great for small/medium DJ applications. I will likely add another one for outdoor events or bigger venues. Overall after a few weeks of ownership I recommend it if you manage your expectations 5

[0 to 300 ms] I've been working in live professional audio for over 20 years. I can say hands down these units are the best (small/medium) PA. I work at a university and we own 2 of the 3000 and one of the 1000 units. These have served 90% of all our needs. Just last weekend I ran the pair of 3000 for about 350 in a ballroom for our new student orientation and ran them hard ( Hard House, EDM and Hip Hop. They have built in limiters that help protect the drivers, but I did not even have to run them to limit. The coverage / intelligibility were fantastic for spoken word. Great units for the price and I only need to take one trip in the van to move the whole PA. I will be ordering 2 more. Well done Turbosound for these fantastic units.good for Pro, church, or school. CON: Low end is lacking for our application, I would have prefered our pair of dual 18" subs, but the pair of 12" subs per side worked OK. 5

[48 kHz / 24-Bit] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5
