Q: 1. would this mic be compatible with the canon XA-25...and if so would I need any other accesories to fit?

A: Yes. Be sure phantom power is on. You may need a spacer for it to fit nicely in the XA25's mic holder. I use a rubber pipe spacer from a bicycle light handlebar mount. O-rings will work, too. If you are shooting outside, be sure to get a fuzzy. It won't get all the wind on a windy day, but it will deal with a lot of it.a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/538882-REG/WindTech_MM_25_MM_25_Fur_Fitted_Microphone.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/538882-REG/WindTech_MM_25_MM_25_Fur_Fitted_Microphone.html/aI use a short XLR cablea href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/845562-REG/Kopul_m4003rc_3_Pin_XLR_M_to_Angled.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/845562-REG/Kopul_m4003rc_3_Pin_XLR_M_to_Angled.html/a

Q: 2. Will the AT875R work on a Panasonic Lumix GH4? Does it plug directly in or do I need a pre amp?

A: The Audio-Technica AT875R Short Shotgun Microphone requires phantom power to operate, which is not provided directly from the 3.5mm external microphone input on the Panasonic Lumix GH4 Mirrorless Camera. To use these two components together, a device that provides a phantom-powered XLR input preamp and converts the signal to a 3.5mm microphone output is required. Q: 3. I am a pastor and am upgrading my wireless microphone system? I can not remember what frequencies I can no longer use.

A: All of the wireless equipment carried by B&H is legal for use in the United States. Any equipment in frequency bands recently restricted by the FCC has been removed from our inventory.

Q: 4. how does it work with a zoom h6?

A: Plug it in and turn on the phantom power and bring up the level.

Q: 5. hello, 3 pin lemo is compatible with shure bodypack?

A: Shure uses a TA4 connector for body packs.

Q: 6. can this mic be used with headphones for monitoring?

A: There is no headphone port on the mic. You would need to monitor the sound from the device you plug the mic into.

Q: 7. hello, DPA Microphone core 4288, conector 1/8 mini jack is to the sennheiser bodypack?

A: Yes that's correct.

Q: 8. attaching this to the Canon XA10 what cable do i need to purchase? Thanks!

A: If you are interested in mounting the 875R to the XA10, we recommend a short XLR cable. Kopul makes a variety of high quality cables. The 4000 is a premium cable and comes in coiled or straight.

Q: 9. I need to practically swallow the 831cW for it to pick up my voice. Is there a omni-directional mic that would work better? What am I doing wrong here?

A: We have not had that issue with our mic , it was purchased as an upgrade from the mic that came with our wireless unit. It was a big improvement . It has always been clipped on tie not the lapel. Cables are very sensitive on all units we have used so don't wrap them. A lot depends on receiver position & how much power you have for system.

Q: 10. Would this system with headset mic allow you to use a Lavalier Mic option? If so which one?

A: Yes, the transmitter for the Audio-Technica ATW-3211/892xTH 3000 Series Wireless Omni Earset Microphone System can be used with a lavalier microphone. Instead of connecting the included earset mic, you can use the Audio-Technica MT830cH Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Wireless (B&H # AUMT830CH), or the Audio-Technica AT829cH Cardioid Lavalier Condenser Microphone (B&H # AUAT829CH)

[Hypercardioid] Lavalier model. Installed in small church, mic up front, receiver way in back. No interference, good signal, good sound. Lapel clip not as pictured. Wire spring on lapel clip that's supposed to hold mic lacks springiness, so just threaded wire through clip. Oh well. Set up easy, works great, good signal, no noise, no interference. Like the mute button feature on transmitter.

[Plug-In Power] I bought these to use for a variety of purposes, but mostly for speech. My wife is the one who primarily uses these and she is not a techie. I wanted microphones with clear signal that were very easy to set up and use. These have been exactly that. We travel with these and never know what the environment will be like. We have never had problems with poor signal or interference in the year we have had them. The lavaliers are a little delicate and we treat them as such so have never had any issues. If your treat your equipment with care it will serve you well.

[Plug-In Power] We use these microphones when videotaping depositions. The quality of the sound is more important than the visual image and sometimes deponents are so soft spoken that only a top quality microphone can pick up there voice. This is the best mic we have found.

[Hypercardioid] The system has excellent quality and I have had no interference problems with it. I was getting a little extra white noise at one venue, but it ended up being an EQ issue that was resolved on the board. Otherwise, the system has served me well for both live music and DJ'ing weddings. Speeches sound just as good as live vocals over a 6 piece band. Looking to buy another system soon!
