A: The Ergotron HX Wall Mount Monitor Arm (White) BH #ER45478216 offers 75 x 75 to 200 x 200mm VESA Support and Supports Displays up to 49", 20 to 42 lbs. The LG 38GL950G-B features a VESA Mounting-Hole Pattern of 100 x 100 mm. and weighs in at 16.8 lbs. So they would be compatible.

Q: 6. Please explain the note 9 inch extension available ??

A: It is adjustable and will hold a lot of weight. I have a Wacom 27QHD monitor being held by it.

[10.2 lb] The white model does not include the grommet mount, despite what B&H's listing details say here. Only the black and aluminum do, per Ergotron's website. This is perhaps due to white being less suitable for offices? Nevertheless I find the white quite handsome even with a black monitor. Arm is solid, nice build quality (white is metal not plastic), smooth adjustments, good reach with 34-inch ultrawide. Grommet mount can be purchased separately, model numbers 98-034 or 98-017. 5

[10.2 lb] This is my second Ergotron Arm - one for my Apple Display and this one for a 50 TV. Their products are really solid, well built and adjust positions with ease. One suggestion on installation - make initial adjustments to all tension points before mounting the TV to the arm. The tension adjustments are easier to reach without the TV and you will know how to get to them before having the TV in the way. Not difficult if you do the initial adjustment first. 5

[10.2 lb] This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display. The reach and steadiness of the arm is beyond reproach: even perched at an extreme angle with a DD wheel setup vibrating nonstop, this holds steady. 5

[10.2 lb] Mounted an Acer Predator X34 Ultrawide monitor on this and was a bit worried that the weight would be a bit much. It holds this beast wonderfully with no issues. It is very well built from high quality materials and is just what I was looking for. 5
