This orange Nanuk 908 Hard Case with Foam Insert, Orange, 8.8Lfrom Nanuk has an 8.8L capacity and a foam insert to protect your delicate items during storage and transport. The case accommodates photo/video gear, batteries, lenses, flash drives, hard drives, microphone systems, pistols, fishing gear, binoculars, scopes, medical devices, instruments, industrial tools, or other equipment. Made from dust, crush, and waterproof NK-7 polypropylene resin, it has a cubed foam insert so you can customize the interior for your specific needs. There is a convoluted egg crate foam layer for the lid and a solid base layer for the bottom.

Its molded-in bezel and gasket are held fast with two PowerClaw latches that use compressive force to keep the case closed to a dust and waterproof IP67 rating. An integrated slide lock prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, the case accepts user-supplied padlocks. It has a built-in pressure release valve that regulates the internal pressure, allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop during air travel. Further design features include an integrated lid stay that prevents the lid from closing on your hand, rustproof and strong stainless steel hardware, and a foldable soft-grip top handle. This case can be stacked with other Nanuk 908 cases for convenient storage.

[Handle] That's not a bad thing. The case is more cubed shaped than anything, so it runs pretty deep. Could probably hold a DSLR with medium sized lens attached, but I actually use it to store and transport a bunch of 970 Lipo batteries that power my LED lighting set up. I chose the color red so that there's less of a chance that I'll leave it behind on a location shoot. The case is totally overdesigned and built, but considering the cost of photo equipment nowadays, that's a good thing. 5

[Latch] It was a good deal ... especially on sale. It comfortably holds my D850 with Tamron 24-70 or 15-30 lens with room to squeeze in an extra battery or card, etc. The latches are particularly stout and won't open accidentally. Overall it's a great case compared to other more expensive brands. I'm not going to throw it off a building but I'm sure it will handle most anything I'm going to subject it to. 5

[Latch] Super satisfied with this Nanuk 908 case. I use it to protect and transport a Lumix BS1H. I am able to store the camera body, two batteries and two lens adapters in the case. Gives me peace of mind and is quite practical. This is my second Nanuk case. Made in Canada is a bonus. 5
