Styled in a black finish, the Xvive Audio U2 is a digital wireless system for transmitting your guitar signal to and from your amplifier or pedalboard. The system consists of two pieces: a transmitter that plugs into your guitar, and a receiver that connects to your amplifier or pedalboard.

Operating on the 2.4 GHz ISM band, the U2 transmits audio at 48 kHz / 24-bit, giving you a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz; thus, the full tonal range of your guitar can be broadcast in all its luster, with a latency of only 5 ms. Onboard lithium-ion batteries last approximately five hours per charge. The system is usable while charging.

The transmitter and receiver are fashioned out of ABS plastic to ensure durability. The 1/4" plugs rotate 300° to accommodate all manner of guitar jacks. Controls on both units allow you to facilitate pairing, and LED indicators let you know you're connected and ready to rock—or, if the situation calls for it, roll.

A: Xvive recommends powering off the components of the Xvive Audio U4 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System with One Receiver while charging. The Xvive uses 2.4GHz frequencies, which are far from the UHF frequencies in the 470-608MHz range that the Sennheiser operates within.

Q: 10. How many transmitters can I use simultaneously?

A: You can use up to 6 transmitters simultaneously in the Xvive Audio U4 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System.

[1x Plug-On] I was using the Line6 relay G10. It worked fine, but this is so much simpler. G10 needed separate power for receiver. The U2 simplifies.

[1x Plug-On] Absolutely flawless operation. I have two sets, considering another... They hold a charge well enough, never an issue and they just work. I don't try them over distance, just in my guitar room, spare bedroom. So I dont ask a lot of them, just work as a cordless guitar to amp conection in a confined area and as I say, they just work. The red is really quite nice. I think I'll go for the carbon fiber print on the next set. The gold was kind of blah in person...

[ABS] I purchased the Xvive wireless guitar system based on a number of positive YouTube reviews. I figured for the price that it would be worth it if I could get it to work.

I first tried it by inserting the transmitter into my PRS and the received into my Mesa Boogie amp directly. Worked perfectly. I didn't mess around with selecting a channel so I suppose it just worked with the default selection.

I next plugged the receiver into an overdrive pedal and the pedal was plugged in with a cable to the amp. Again it worked like a charm and there was no noticeable difference compared to using the pedal and amp with a cable.

Later on I did play around with selecting a different channel on the transmitter. It takes a little getting used to, but the device beeps the 1-4 times depending on what channel it's on. You have to set the receiver to the same channel to get the system to work. There is no light to tell you that the two are on the same channel so you just have to keep pressing the channel button to get them to sync.

Anyway, if you don't have a second guitar using the same wireless system it's best just to leave it in channel 1 and leave it alone. It will work well.

While playing I moved around the house and it definitely has great range. It was fun moving into different parts of the house without worrying about getting tangled up in a long guitar cable.

[ABS] Bought these to connect my Zoom H5n to my DLSR. Of course I had to have a 1/8 adapter for the receiver to go into my DLSR. Audio sync automatically with no issues using the default channel. I am using other 2.4 wireless devices but these babies work perfectly with zero interruptions. I’ve tried quite a few products and had to return them all due to sound dropping in and out. Unless I happen to break them, I don’t see a need to try anymore products. It feels good to finally get the wireless connection I’ve been needing to step my game up!
