A: There are two slots that the filter can go in. Be sure to put the Lee Stopper in the slot that is the closer to the camera with the soft part towards the camera as well. Those two things should keep light from filtering in. Also, make sure that you cover the eyepiece either with tape or the cover provided by the camera mfg.

We use the Genus Matte Box Lite and use Tiffin 4x4 filters without a problem, however the Tiffin 1,8 ND is twice the price of the Lee filter.The Lee filter has foam around the sides and is thinner than the Tiffin which is 4mm thick... so not sure it was meant for use in a matte box like the Genus. A: It will fit but be a somewhat tight fit because of the foam on the filter.
