The Cargo Case Camera Edition has an ultra-light design, featuring dual-rigidity foam for maximum equipment protection. The RIG-EVA1XT has been designed to add extra height to this case to accomodate your equipment needs in a better manner. It is designed to Panasonic AU-EVA1 setups up to 21.75" long. This rugged case is constructed using long-life materials including 1000-denier Cordura nylon and solid steel clip rings. Reversed zippers and a slip-not anti-skid waterproof bottom panel are used for increased water-resistancy and durability.

Q: 1. Wheels look very vulnerable, would you be comfortable repeatedly checking the bag on flights.

A: I would say that this is the result of wanting the maximum space. I would imagine Porta Brace is thinking the users want more space and that the wheels, if in the rare chance they are damaged, would be an easy fix.

Q: 2. Is this case strong enough to do frequent check in at the airport?

A: yes as long as you don't make it too heavy. keep it to 50lbs or less and should be fine

Q: 3. Can this bag fit the C300mk2 with the Zacuto Recoil rig?

A: If you mean the Zacuto C300 Mark II EVF Recoil Rig B&H # ZAZC3002ERV2, we feel with both the grip and the Gratical in place, even folded and collapsed, the rig would be too wide. A: Regarding the PortaBrace Production Case with Dividers & Off-Road Removable Wheels (Medium, Black), yes, the packaging box is slightly bigger than the case so it can fit. The interior dimensions are 12 x 10 x 24".

Q: 5. Will this fit a 21 1/2 inch length, 11 inch width blackmagic broadcast g2?

A: The interior measurements of the PortaBrace CAR-4CAM Cargo Camera Case are 24 x 13 x 12.5 inches. We show the Black Magic URSA G2 to be 6" W, 11" L and 10" tall with the top handle attached. However, your rig design would fit.

Q: 6. What are compatible third party lid organizers (other than the simple zip portabrace one)?

A: The PortaBrace Hard Carry-On Case with Customizable Dividers seems to only be compatible with the one by PortaBrace. Third party ones that we carry are made for other cases.

Q: 7. Is the bag so bulky that it needs wheels to be transported properly?

A: The exterior of the bag is: 31.0 x 17.0 x 12.0 / 78.7 x 43.2 x 30.5 cm. You could hand carry it, but once loaded, Porta Brace (bag manufacturers for the video industry for decades,) feels that its customers would appreciate the wheels.

[Rolling case] I bought the foam insert version and custom fit an entire Sony FS700 package inside no problem. Case seems unbreakable. I haven't flown with it yet, so that'll be a big if but my expectations are high. 5

[14.5 in] This is the third case I have purchased. I use them for my light kits. This one will be for my LEDs. Perfect to hold my lights. Included dividers makes it easy to organize and lot of pockets are great for small grip gear. 5

[Yes] We modified ours (removed the inside pockets) to make it larger. It now carries 4 12 x 12 lite panels, power, brackets and xlr cables. The zipper top is Positive. It overlaps the sides and zipper around instead of on top of the case. A great fit. 5

[17.99 lbs] We bought this bag so we could consolidate our field gear into something that was easily transportable. It was tremendously helpful to be able to customize the interior panels for a tight fit. The zipper pockets are great for storing hard drives and other production accessories. The case is made from extremely durable material... exactly what you would expect from Porta Brace. 5

[39 in] I use this bag for my Diva 200's. I used to use a Pelican 1650 roller case, but I found them too heavy and cumbersome to be using on a daily basis for location work. I found that this bag replaces the hard case and protects my gear just as well in an easy to carry solution. The quality is everything expected from Porta Brace. 5

[17.99 lbs] Was looking for a bag for a Profoto Pro-B2R kit that was no larger than it needed to be. We use a lot of Porta Brace elsewhere in our studio and love the combination of hardshell interior with lots of pockets. The combo, unlike hardcases, doesn't see accessories that don't need hard protection consuming limited interior space. The PC-1 suits the purpose perfectly. It's solid, has lot of exterior and interior pockets and will serve our use well. Would make a great production case. 5

[Yes] My third Porta Brace case. It was much bigger than I expected on arrival, despite my being familiar with the dimensions prior to ordering. I was originally just going to just use it for our audio equipment, but I think I'll repurpose it as a rig bag. I can fit my DVX-200 with a PIX-E 7 attached to the top and still have room for more in the main compartment. The front-top compartment can hold a large laptop. The rest of the pockets are huge. I can carry my full field kit in this case. A few things, though: it would appear the cool wooden handle is no longer part of this case. The straps aren't even there for it. Also, the description said it comes with a strip light. The only light on this thing is the little carabiner light that comes with all the bags. In any case, still love it. 5

[1000D Cordura] I have 3 of these, owned them for the past 4yrs. They're built extremely tough, have dropped one from the trunk of my car onto the concrete & everything was fine inside it, not a scratch to the outside either. I highly recommend their products to everyone. This is the only brand I'll purchase after owning them for over 4yrs as they have taken care of all my products throughout the years. 5

[39 in] I bought this bag for my three 1X1 F&V light panels. They fit perfectly, the case that came with those light panels was larger and heavier and had no real pockets. I'm assuming ANY brand of 1X1 light panels will fit. Again the 3 that I have fit quite well. The PC-1 is NOT specifically designed for light panels so I've had to rig some dividers out of corrugated plastic to keep them from bouncing off each other. There are enough pockets for cables, power supplies and even snap on batteries. There's a great 1x1 pocket on the backside that I slip my Rosco ROEC1212LP 1X1 egg crate into. 5

[19 lb] Very well built. The handle on mine is different than the pictures on the site, instead of a wooden handle, it's got a clip on strap which works well. 5
