Get to your venue ready to grab your rig and shoot with this PortaBrace Lightweight Cargo Case for Camera Rigs & Lensesfrom Porta Brace. Reversed zippers give you easy access to the 9" high main compartment, where your rig is held in place in shoot-ready format by a rigid foam frame. For extra protection, the case comes with a camera-stabilizing cinch and a universal camcorder cradle. The case is built with 1000D Cordura nylon and outfitted with a waterproof layer on the bottom so you can set it down on any terrain without worries.

The case's design includes front and back slip pockets—which make grabbing SD cards, documents, and cords fast and easy—and two side pockets for storing batteries, extra flashes, and other accessories. Also featured are a suede shoulder strap and handles for comfortable carrying. Another useful included accessory is a carabiner/flashlight for finding items stored in your bag without hassle.

Q: 2. Will the Canon c200 fit inside with the zipper closed?

A: You have to take the camera apart to put the C200 in this bag. This is the bags downfall.

A: This model, CAR-2CAMC, has internal dimensions of 17 x 6.5 x 9.5".

Q: 6. What is the interior color on the extra height version?

A: The PortaBrace CAR-3CAMT Cargo Case Camera Edition has a gray interior.

Q: 7. No top padding?

A: Like the others have said, no top padding. Mine just arrived yesterday from B&H. I got it for the Canon XC15. Lots of room and I can safely put it in the case with the MA-400 Microphone Adapter attached, which is what I was wanting to do. To protect my camera, I think I might take the PB-B9 Stuff Sack that is included with the case and put soft padding material in it and put that on top of my camera when it is in the case. It fits perfectly to protect it. I'll just buy the (3) pack of BP-B9 Stuff Sacks B&H has listed, since they are handy to have for small items.Great Case though. A real quality piece that should last for many years.

Q: 8. Will this hold a JVC GY HM600U?

A: I use this case with my Sony X180, which is LARGER than the HM600, and it fits with room to spare. I haven't physically put one of my stations HM650's in it, but they feel like tiny skinny toys compared to the fat beefy X180.

Q: 9. Fits a p2 hpx 170 panasonic?

A: Sorry no. The Panasonic AG-HPX170 P2HD is 6.1 x 7.1 x 15.7 (15.4 x 18 x 39.7cm) and the interior of the Porta Brace Cargo Case for Compact HDSLR Camera (Black) B&H # POCAR1CAM is 14 L X 6 W X 6 H. [Zipper] I'm very happy with this bag. It's reasonably priced and offers a lot of utility. I am using it for the JVC GY-HM200U and it fits in perfectly, even with the handle and microphone attached. What is more, there's lots of internal and external pockets for storing lights, backup batteries, and more. A side pocket is perfect for storing a folder with picture/video release forms--it's like they thought about every need! The stitching and quality of fabrication seem good. I'll update this review if I experience any problems after I put some miles on this bag. 5

[Zipper] Been using Portabrace since Hector was a pup... Their bags just work, and hold up to the abuse that they are subject to, so I was glad to see them offering one for the Z280. All the standard stuff is here, in classic Portabrace materials and fashion. No frills - just solid protection and carrying utility with quality workmanship as always. They throw in a removable soft pouch and white balance card, too. Im not sure what else they would need to do to improve on the design. Its just great! 5

[24 x 11 x 11"] We are bringing online media coverage to a small town and needed something durable that would protect our investment well. We deal with a largely volunteer staff so it had to be well thought out and highly functional. We are very pleased with both the design and the durability of the Porta Brace Cargo Case. Most of our storage needs were met with plenty of room for our Canon xa10 with wireless mic system for interviews, headphones, cables and other necessities. The shoulder strap is quite comfortable for toting. We also like the individual packing touches including a mic bag that velcros to the top of the unit. The only negative I have, and this is a minor one for me, is that I would have preferred the storage dividers to be a bit deeper. 5

[5.1 lb] This bag is awesome!!! I wanted a top loading bag that my Nikon D850 would fit into with the lens and hood on; ready to grab and shoot! The Sigma lens comes with a lens hood cover, making it a perfect grab and shoot setup! The bag is roomy, quick to get into, and perfect for my needs!!!!
