[3.82 lb] This device allowed me to connect two computers to the DVI input of a Panasonic switcher. We could switch between a live on the web pc and video playback on mac. The switch was almost seamless, just a millisecond or two of black between computers.

[5 VDC] I use this kvm switch to go between two desktop computers. One has all of my personal business info and programs, the other is my expermental computer. The reason I give this switch 5 stars is that in works perfectly with my Logitech MX5500 Blue Tooth keyboard/mouse combo. I had problems with other switches being able to use both the keyboard and mouse. I have not found a bad thing about this product.

[3.82 lb] I wanted to use my monitor for an intel Macbook Pro and a PowerPC Mac desktop. This DVI switch is doing what I wanted. It is easy to go from one computer to another. In my case many use the desktop and I am the only one using the Laptop. I am also using wireless mouse and key board for the laptop, while the desktop is connected by usb.

My main rig (email/word processing etc)has it's own dedicated monitor but my other 2 which are the faster machines are my photographic server and processing rigs. As I only need to see my photo server display occasionally, I decided to use a KVM switch. I had a Belkin (VGA) switch which I tried. That really was a piece of junk. So I bought this one (from B&H) and it was a breeze to install and so far has performed flawlessly. I have had no problems with Windows 7 updates as reported by another reviewer. Yes it is a little expensive but, guess what, you get what you pay for (most of the time!)

Support at B&H Photo advised that it should and it does.
Saves a lot of space when you have multiple recorders or PCs.
I wouldn't have had room if I had to have 4 monitors, keyboards and mice.

[11.3 x 7 x 4"] I use this product at home and also connect my office laptop when home. I use this with the Logitech Wireless K 800 Keyboard and the M705 Wireless mouse. It took me a while to make all of this work but it works like a charm. The only thing I do not like is that I cannot toggle from one computer to another using my Wireless Keyboard as the emulation does not work and need to physically use the switch in front of the KVM switch to switch between m/c's. Apart from that I love everything else about it.

[0 to 80%] Rather than clutter up my work area with an array of monitors for my two workstations this KVMP switch allows me to jump from one to another as needed. I might be editing video on one while a CGI animation is rendering on the other. It's a great way to work.My wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse USB receiver stick just plugs into one of the two backside peripheral ports (not the front ports that are for wired keyboards and mice)and your off to the races. This is something that is not really explained anywhere in the sparse documentation that accompanies the item.A nice feature is to be able to momentarily take a peak at the screen activity of computer B without really taking over true control and then go back to your main business on computer A - all by how long one holds down the switching switch on the unit.Well built, perhaps overly well built, in a handsome metal case. Nice item.

[3.82 lb] I built a second machine for playing around with Linux and Windows 8, and wanted a 2 port KVM. This is a nice one. The switching has been problem free so far. I like that additional USB devices can be hooked to the KVM so that they follow me to the machine I am working on. The cables are also nice and long - so no problem with putting the unit on the desk. No real complaints I can think of. Nice KVM that keeps out of the way until it is needed.
