This Cooke 300mm T3.5 Anamorphic/i Prime Lens PL Mountfeatures the classic, natural yet sharp "Cooke look" in an anamorphic format. One of Cooke's extensive Anamorphic/i series, the 300mm prime incorporates an 11-blade iris for cinematic-looking, 2:1 oval bokeh. Designed for use with both digital cinema and film cameras, the Cooke Anamorphic/i primes provide a 2x squeeze and cover image formats up to Super35. For maximum optical performance, aberration, flare, and distortion correction extend over the entire image area, and throughout the 300mm's T3.5-22 aperture range. The Anamorphic/i primes are color-matched with Cooke's S4/i, 5/i, and mini S4/i series of prime lenses.

Each Anamorphic/i prime sports both a hardened PL mount and a cable connection that uses Cooke's /i Technology to transmit lens data to compatible cameras. Lens setting data including focal length, aperture, focus, and depth-of-field, are provided in both feet and metric measurements.

The 300mm Anamorphic/i Prime Lens features a 8' 6" minimum focus distance, focus marks in feet and meters, a relatively light weight of 20.5 lb, and a compact length of 14.9". The lens is constructed with 0.8 MOD geared focus and iris rings for use with follow focus, zoom control, and wireless FIZ systems. A large lens barrel, an increased number of focus marks, and Cooke's cam-style focus movement enable precise focus pulls. Focus marks are clearly visible and engraved on the lens barrel in both feet and meters.

[T22] I seriously LOVE what these lenses do as an intro set of Cine glass. As a long time Sigma Art series user I didn't realize how much of an upgrade this was going to be from Photo glass. I'm super happy with the money i spent on this and also the 35mm. I will be getting the 24mm and 85mm ASAP!

[33.5 mm] I purchased the 31mm Dulens lens & don't regret it. I enjoy the color rendition of this lens. It's a sharp lens and it has a dare I say Vintage look lol. Its a small & light weight lens and packs a punch. It doesn't Flare as much as I thought it would - to mitigate some flaring just add a
Matte Box when shooting out doors. I also like alternating from Full frame 31mm to Super 35 and get closer to a 50mm look with this lens. It lives on my Lumix s5iiX camera 70% of the time. It pairs well with the FotodioX Pro Lens mount Adapter Arri PL to L mount cameras. Keep in mind the Aperture ring is a little tight to turn but I would say its a good thing when using this lens - you don't want the aperture ring to turning easily when in use. This lens is definitely worth considering when shopping for your next budget Cinema Lens. Cheers!

[Yes] Its just the combination of build quality, image, range, T-stops and price. Cant find a cheaper lens with that zoom range while keeping this great Japanese quality. Lens for decades.

[T3.5] A lot of bokeh at 65mm, but one of the lightest ones in the Orion set (besides the 32mm). Lighter than 40mm
