The single-channel Jensen Transformers VB-1RR Single-Channel Video Isolator RCAis a passive, 75-Ohm isolator for composite (baseband) video, which prevents and eliminates hum bars caused by 60-cycle ground loops. It ensures that the video signal is faithfully delivered without noise, contamination, or artifact, even where ground voltage differences are very large such as in surveillance video systems, night clubs, video walls, broadcast stations, or industrial plants.

The VB-1RR combines true 75-Ohm RCA connectors with a custom-wound Jensen transformer. This precise impedance-matched circuitry ensures minimal reflection while providing an exceptionally linear bandwidth from 10 Hz to 10 MHz, with 120 dB of ground noise attenuation.

Easy to set up with no power required, the Iso-Max VB-1RR is housed in a rugged steel enclosure fitted with screw-down flanges for easy installation in 19" racks, inside a NEMA enclosure, under shelves, or for attaching to cabinetry.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work to get balanced audio from an event sound system properly into an ATEM Mini Pro?

A: Yes, the Sescom 1-Channel Balanced XLR to Unbalanced RCA to Audio Converter will allow you to properly connect the sound system into the ATEM mini.

Q: 2. Would this set up work for a lighter set up? Say a Ronin S and blackmagic?

A: The setup is customizable and can be adjusted for any size and weight camera by changing the cables for different lengths or diameter. They are common cables and easy to find.

Q: 3. What is the supported payload?

A: Hi Jonathan, The Cloud Mount is designed to be scaleable to whatever you need to put on it. The "standard" versions are appropriate for a system like a Movi Pro with a compact camera body (like Red or C300 etc) with compact glass. The Cloud Mount Pro comes with cabling which can accommodate gimbals as large as Movi XL with full size camera bodies. Every build and placement are unique but I hope that helps.

Q: 4. Is this book the second edition that covers v.2 update for the camera?

A: As far as I know, there is not updated version, just like his series of FS7 instructional videos on YouTube, he say there may be minor updates from Sony, however the basics are still in effect. You can write to Doug himself by googling his address via Vortex Media.

Q: 5. Can this be used to convert a headphones level signal (DDJ 800) to a pro line level signal (+4dBu)?

A: The Radial Engineering StageBug SB-6 Isolator is not converting or boosting line level signals, but rather converting impedance (Hi-Z to Lo-Z) and eliminating hum in the signal chain.

Q: 6. I'm thinking of purchasing this unit, but am curious to how you would connect it from your motherboard to PC speakers. I know it has RCA inputs/outputs, and would assume:- Speakers connect to the output?- Motherboard connect to the corresponding input?Only asking, as their website doesn't have an instructional/manual on this...Thanks.

A: The ART DTI will connect from your computers output jack to the RCA inputs of the unit using the correct cable. Output connections from the DTI will depend on the connections available on the speakers or other device to be connected.

Q: 7. LINE input or MIC input or both ?

A: Both.

Q: 8. Does it support Windows 7?

A: Yes. In fact it supports Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Q: 9. How do we attach the Ronin2 mount on this thing?

A: A Ronin 2 can not be mounted directly to the Kessler Crane KillShock Isolator System unless it is mounted upside down so that the Ronin 2 can hand down from the mounting plate. If you were to mount the Ronin 2 in this way you can use the CineMilled R2 Main Mount for DJI Ronin 2 (BH #CICM021) to attach the Ronin 2 to the Kessler Crane KillShock Isolator System.

Q: 10. Is the AC power adapter supplied ?

A: Yes, the Rolls PB23 Single Channel Phantom Power Supply includes the Rolls PS27s AC Power Adapter with purchase.

[Single] Solved the problem of the DirecTV receiver causing ground loop (because of the ground at the home entry). Using a Denon AVR 6500H as the preamp for Parasound A21+, placed the Jensen Transformers Iso-Max CI-2RR - 2-Channel Ground Isolator about a couple of feet from the Parasound RCA input and 3 feet from the Denon (all bluejeans LC-1 capbles). Dead silence now during quiet periods.

The good part about placing the isolation break at the input to the power amplifier is that the Jensen should still be effective should there be other ground problems now or later, beyond the Directv receiver.

[0.845 lb] I have Denon & Atmos speaker setup, cablebox from Comcast & a subwoofer. The cheap $20 isolator available online didn't do a good job since comcast signal was degraded per their tech. He said that it introduced some noise feed back to their other customers. Not sure how much of that is true but he did say that if I were to get an isolator get something over 1000mhz and this one fit the spec. I installed it and so far all is great. No issues with performance but the box label instructed to read instruction which were not in the box. So I went to their website and read it.

[0.845 lb] I have an Onkyo NR5008 serving as a preamp to a Parasound 2250 stereo amp driving my Left and Right channel Tekton Design Double Impact speakers (high sensitivity 4 ohm speakers). Due to the potential current draws, these are on separate 20 amp circuits. The Jensen CI-2RR removed all the hum without changing the tonal balance or shaving off the high frequencies based on REW measurements. Bought this based on the success I had with the Iso-Max Sub-2RR I use to connect the Onkyo with my 1,000 watt subwoofer amplifier (plugged into a third 20 amp circuit). Both Iso-Max units eliminated the hum without sonically damaging the signal which was not true for the less expensive isolating transformers I tried first.

[Single] Great device, bought to fix a ground loop hum between my catv coax coming into the house and my other audio-video equipment.
So now no more hum and the video reception quality did not degrade.

[Single] Had a 60 cycle hum in my audio/video system and narrowed It down to the Blu-Ray player and cable box were causing a ground loop. Installed the Jensen ISO-Max VRD-1FF on the cable line before the box and it worked - no more hum. Much thanks to Jensen and B&H.

[Single] There was a ground loop after I added the Parasound A21+ to my system. Using my Denon AVR 6500H as the preamp, there was a noisy signal traced to the ground midpoint on the DirecTV antenna cable at the home cable entrance. It is a difficult ground loop because the shield of the DirecTV coaxial cable carries the power for the roof antenna. It would not help to make a single star ground because there is always a length of powered shield between the home theater/stereo boxes and the outdoor grounded entrance (grounded there at the outside wall by electrical) code. Fortunately, the Iso-Max breaks the ground loop at the input the A21+, so other potential ground problems may be cleared as well. While I was very hesitant to add anything to the input analog signal path, this seems to be the best and most practical solution. So far, I do not hear any difference, no perceived distortion or loss of fidelity.

[Single] We got a new cable box for the home theatre and with it a ground loop hum. This filter worked perfectly to get rid of the hum and did not interfere with the digital cable programming

[Single] This seems like a pricey little widget, but it worked perfectly to eliminate a heavy hum in my new subwoofer setup (Dayton rackmount subwoofer amp, Dayton Reference 10 subwoofer) in my home theater. BTW this was at the suggestion of the documentation for the subwoofer driver.

[0.845 lb] I needed to create a balanced input on a FM broadcast exciter to eliminate hum. This transformer did the trick perfectly and was delivered quickly. You can't go wrong with a Jensen transformer.
