Ideal for use in performance venues, broadcast houses, and broad-scale AV installations, the Jensen Iso-Max DIN-LI Single-Channel Line-Input Isolatoris a passive, single-channel line-input isolator, which prevents and eliminates hum and buzz by isolating the input of the connected device. Designed to work with professional, balanced audio systems, it is also capable of attenuating electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) problems. The unit is plug-and-play with no power required, and snaps into place onto a standard 35mm DIN rail, for easy installation in a NEMA electrical enclosure.

The DIN-LI features a high-performance Jensen transformer with internal Faraday shield, which eliminates ground loops and reduces common-mode noise by as much as 124 dB. The unit delivers a flat frequency-response from 5 Hz to 40 kHz, and can withstand signals in excess of +19 dB at 20 Hz, without discernible distortion.

Connections to and from the Jensen Transformers Iso-Max DIN-2LI are made via removable screw-down wire terminals. The module comes equipped with a gray, molded assembly made from UL94-VO flame-retardant Noryl.

A: this device has not have a switch to 220V, so i do not recomend that you connect it to a 220V.

A: The DigitalFoto Solution Limited HULK-ISO Shock Vibration Isolator has many mounting points that could be used with a MonoPod. The HULK-ISO will only help with motor vibrations and not the rocking and pitching motion of watercraft.

Q: 9. can this be used with an XLR mic going into an audio interface, such as a Focusrite Scarlett?

A: Yes, while the Focusrite family can accept a wide range of microphone input voltages, this device can provide additional attenuation. If the microphone is being over-driven in a particular sound field, this will not cure that problem. It is preferred that high attenuation not be introduced on the input side and then amplified back up by the pre-amplifier as the signal to noise ratio will suffer.

Q: 10. Can this be used to feed a line-level output from a soundboard into a mic-level input camera socket where the source signal is 30 or 40db more than what the camera needs? I am not sure which side is male vs. female. Thanks.

A: Yes. I use it to take line level from a soundboard into a mic level audio recorder. It works perfectly.

[1] Had a 60 cycle hum in my audio/video system and narrowed It down to the Blu-Ray player and cable box were causing a ground loop. Installed the Jensen ISO-Max VRD-1FF on the cable line before the box and it worked - no more hum. Much thanks to Jensen and B&H. 5

[1] I was getting hum from my REL T9 subwoofer. REL customer service helped me track down the cause to electrical noise originating from my coax Xfinity cable connection and flowing through my cable box and my AV receiver and out to my subwoofer. After adding this ground isolator the hum immediately disappeared. 5

[1] I have Denon & Atmos speaker setup, cablebox from Comcast & a subwoofer. The cheap $20 isolator available online didn't do a good job since comcast signal was degraded per their tech. He said that it introduced some noise feed back to their other customers. Not sure how much of that is true but he did say that if I were to get an isolator get something over 1000mhz and this one fit the spec. I installed it and so far all is great. No issues with performance but the box label instructed to read instruction which were not in the box. So I went to their website and read it. 5

[1] The transformer worked perfectly. The low frequency hum from the TV was gone once it was installed. Make sure to follow the installation guidelines on the website - especially trimming the center conductor on the CATV coax cables. NOTE: There were no instructions included with the shipment even though the label on the transformer box seemed to imply there would be. 5
